Hello and Happy Tuesday, ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s TIME FOR A CARD TUESDAY, but instead of a card I have something extra special to share with you…

I created this banner for the CKC event that we attended earlier this month in San Marcos, TX.  Just about everyone that came into the booth asked about the dies, etc.  Originally, I didn’t think that  I was going to blog it, but since it was such a hit I thought I would share it with you.

Do you recognize the banner?

Yes!  It’s the pennant from the WINNING Confetti Cuts die set…

I flipped it so that the point was down and cut it from a variety of pattern papers in my stash.

Then, I layered it with the smaller circle from the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set and topped it with a stamped (LIGHTHEARTED LETTERS) pink circle, also from the WINNING Confetti Cuts die set.  To embellish, I cut stars from the OH MY STARS Confetti Cuts die set and topped them with green sequins and orange enamel dots.

Detail shot of a single embellished pennant…

I love when I get to “stretch” the use of my stamp and dies.  This is just one way to get more from the WINNING Confetti Cuts die set.  Don’t be too surprised if you see another banner or two using these Confetti Cuts and stamps for the upcoming holidays!

Hello ‘Fetti Fans and fellow coffee lovers!

Today, we are taking part in the COFFEE LOVERS BLOG HOP, both as a sponsor and participant.

We hope that you will not only enjoy all of the coffee themed goodness shared today, National Coffee Day, but also participate for a chance at some great prizes (including a gift certificate from Reverse Confetti)!

Want FREE (or really cheap) coffee today?  HERE is a list of places offering up a free cuppa joe…cheers!

You can find all the details and link list HERE at Chaitali’s blog, CutsCropsCreativity.

My card features the set BE A BARISTA

To create this card I masked the mugs, starting at the top, to create a stacked look.  I then used my Copics to color them in fun bright colors.  Finally, I cut the stack out as one single image and then popped it up on the white card base.

The sentiment is also from the BE A BARISTA set…

One more pic of my card…

Just for fun, we’re answering some coffee related questions, too…

1. When did you start drinking coffee?

I’ve always enjoyed a cup, but I didn’t *really* start drinking it until after I had kids.  I guess that’s when I started needing it!

2. What is favorite brand?

I drink Folgers Medium-Dark roast at home, but I always enjoy getting a Starbucks.

3. What is the most amazing coffee that you had? Remember where and when?

I don’t think I’ve had one so memorable, yet.  Maybe I’m not that sophisticated when it comes to coffee (hence the good ol’ Folgers at home).

4. If I don’t drink my needed coffee, I will…

Let’s just say this…My 4 year old recently asked my why I am such a monster before I get my coffee.

That was actually in reference to me saying “Coffeeeeeee, Coffeeeeee” like a zombie, but the truth is that he’s not really that far off on the reality of my mood pre-first cup!

. . . . .

Come play along in this caffeine crazed hop!  All details and prize information can be found HERE.

Hello, hello, ‘Fetti Fans!

The weekend is in view and boy, oh boy, am I ready for it!  Football, birthday parties, my anniversary and my feet up…sounds like a plan to me!

But, alas, the weekend isn’t here quite yet.  However, we still have fun things happening right here on the Reverse Confetti blog.  It’s Thursday and it’s time for CONFETTI CAMERA!

In this weekly segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations. For this round, you’ll get a dose of Reverse Confetti inspiration from a fun tip or technique from each of our designers. A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such on Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will answer the same set of questions/show a tip until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

3) For this round we are focusing on ABC (anything but a card) projects.  Keep your eyes peeled for some fabulous ways to use your Reverse Confetti stamps!

Today on Confetti Camera we have the fun and fabulous, AMBER HIGHT

Hello ‘Fetti Fans! Hope everyone is having a great week so far, I can’t believe it’s already Thursday! Thursday bring Confetti Camera here on the Reverse Confetti blog. This round, we’re creating ABC projects. I’m not big on projects or treat bags/boxes, I’m a card girl. Ha! But I’m also a VORACIOUS READER and love anything to do with books! I was thinking, what could I create that I could use for reading? A bookmark of course! I’m always on the look out for cute bookmarks, so it was really fun to make my own!

I created a bookmark out of several Reverse Confetti Confetti Cuts and the PAPER CRANE stamp set. When going through my RC collection, I was looking for sentiments that I could use on a bookmark, and thought these sentiments from PAPER CRANE worked perfectly!

I started out with my CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts and cut out the largest scalloped circle in turquoise, and then the next smallest plane circle in white watercolor paper. I made a little pallette of Peeled Paint distress ink and swiped the circles through the ink a few times and dried, then swiped through the wet ink and dried again until I got the amazing watercolor’y look I was going for. Unfortunately it got mostly covered up, but fortunately it’s with adorable RC Confetti Cuts, ha!  Next, I cut several flowers with the PETALS ‘N POSIES Confetti Cuts and stamped the matching stamps from PETALS ‘N POSIES in various ink colors. I cut a couple small labels from the GIVE THANKS LABEL Confetti Cuts and then stamped the sentiments from PAPER CRANE. I took a piece of ribbon and glued it in the middle of the scalloped and plane circles and that’s the bookmark. Super simple and super fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, hope you have time today to get inky!
