Hey, Fetti Fans! It’s Thursday and time for Confetti Camera!
A little bit about Confetti Camera…
In this weekly (Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.
For this round each of our designers are working on Celebrations! However, there is a little something different…I have challenged them to use black, white and ONE other color. I think you are going to LOVE what you see!
A couple of things to note:
1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.
2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.
Up in the spotlight today is the sweet and talented, Laurie Schmidlin…
Hi ‘Fetti Fans! It’s my turn to share with you what I came up with for this round of Confetti Camera! My absolute favorite color combo in the whole galaxy (yes, I love it that much Ha!) is black and white! In fact, black and white with a pop of color here and there is pretty much my go-to combo, especially when I’m stuck in a rut. There is just something about it that get my creativity flowing again!
For this card, I chose green as my one pop of color. I had some green markers sitting out on my desk already so I decided to go with it. It also might have something to do with those being the colors of my most favorite coffee company, but I’m not entirely sure. Ha!
Speaking of coffee (see what I did there?), I broke out my Caffeinated Cups stamp set (along with the coordinating Caffeinated Cups Confetti Cuts die set). For the background embossed sentiment as well as the focal sentiment, I used the For the Love of Latte stamp set. The tag was die cut using the Topped Off Tag Confetti Cuts die set and one of the toppers from the Top ‘o the Tag Confetti Cuts die set.
