Hello, ‘Fetti Fans and Happy Thursday!
What an amazing week it has been with the new release happening yesterday. We are busy in the warehouse getting your new goodies out the door fast, fast, fast!
If you haven’t checked out all the new releases, you can see them HERE.
We have also a recap video HERE on our new YouTube channel.
. . . . .
Today, we have another great CONFETTI CAMERA for you!
A little bit about Confetti Camera…
In this weekly (Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.
For this round each of our designers are CASE-ing a card created from one of the other Confetti Crew members. In stamping terms, CASE means to Copy And Stamp Exactly. The Crew is taking a previously made card and making it new. This is a fun way to see what you can do with your stamps and, I think, that it helps you grow as a creative person as it requires you to think outside the box a bit.
A couple of things to note:
1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.
2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.
In the spotlight today is the sweet and talented, HEATHER HOFFMAN…
. . . . .
Good morning! Heather Hoffman here this morning to share my first Confetti Camera post with you! Since the theme of this time around is CASE-ing a card from another member of the Confetti Crew – I spent WAY too much time looking, thinking, and trying to narrow it down. I finally settled on this – almost the first Reverse Confetti project I pinned on Pinterest. This card by Amy Sheffer made me gasp out loud and stare the first time I saw it – and I still feel like I could stare at it for hours!
I changed mine up a bit for my version, but tried to keep the same light and airy feel with pops of color and sparkle that I loved about this one!
To begin with, I changed the location of my watercolor panel to fit the different stamp set I decided to use – brand new All About Ewe. I also changed the color of my watercolor background, going with a blend of greens and yellows instead of blues and greens and adding some splatters as on Amy’s version. I liked the feeling of a pasture of green grass that it gave to ground my images!
I stamped and colored all of my images, then die cut them with the coordinating All About Ewe Confetti Cuts. Instead of stamping my sentiment under my scene, I stamped it above – then added some fun sparkle with some clear sequins sprinkled around.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! It’s so fun to CASE a gorgeous card and put your own spin on it! I hope maybe you’ll be inspired to give it a try sometime!
