CONFETTI CAMERA

A little bit about Confetti Camera…

In this weekly (Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.

For this round each of our designers are showcasing our ink and cardstock in their favorite color palette.  This is a fun way to see what you can do with your Confetti Colors!

A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

In the spotlight today is the super sweet and talented HEATHER HOFFMAN…

Greetings! Heather Hoffman here today kicking off a fun
theme for the new round of Confetti Camera posts called Color Me Mine! This
time around we are choosing some of the BEAUTIFUL Reverse Confetti inks (and cardstock) to
create a fun color palette to create with. I have tons of color theme
inspiration pinned on Pinterest, and frequently match these up with ink
colors I have. (My color palette was actually inspired by THIS pin).

The CONFETTI COLORS I used for this challenge…

I decided to pull out the beautiful new Build
a Bunch Stamp set
and Coordinating Confetti Cuts to build my bouquet of
flowers. I stamped and heat embossed several of a couple different flowers
and leaves on Premier White cardstock using clear embossing
powder. I then used a foam ink blending tool to blend my chosen ink colors
over the flowers and leaves, allowing the color to fade toward one edge of
the image for an ombre effect. I die cut Vertical Stripes Cover Panel from white
cardstock and layered on a white cardbase, then arranged my florals over
that until I was happy with the arrangement. I then used Jennifer McGuire’s
trick of Press and Seal to pick up the arrangement, turn it over and apply
adhesive, then adhere onto my cardbase without anything moving! Added a
sentiment from Sentiment Essentials stamped on Sand Cardstock and heat embossed in white then die cut
with it’s Coordinating Confetti Cuts – then adhered over top with
foam adhesive.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
