COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI: PIGGIES, PINK & MORE

Greetings, ‘Fetti Fans!

I’m so excited that the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI begins today!  We have lots of great new goodies that will be available at midnight EST on January 8th.  Of course, we have new stamps and Confetti Cuts dies and we are also introducing 4 new Confetti Colors in cardstock, ink and as part of our new 6×6 paper pad.  There’s a fabulous new stencil as part of this release, too.

Here’s what the next few days look like…

. . . . .

Don’t forget to leave a comment here and on each sneak peek post this week for a chance to win!

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion.  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed (beginning at 9am EST today)…

On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic.  One person that comments on the graphic by 1pm EST on January 7th will be randomly chosen to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced here on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook.

. . . . .

Well, ‘Fetti Fans, here it goes!  You know the drill…sit back, enjoy that cuppa and all of the Confetti Creativity we have in store for you today!

First, let’s take a look at the new Confetti Colors…

Cardstock – Premium 100lb cardstock that coordinates with our Confetti Colors Ink.   These will be available in 12 sheets of single color and 12 sheet multi-color sheet packs.

Ink – Premium Dye Ink that coordinates with our Confetti Colors Cardstock.  Available in full pads, re-inkers and 4 packs of ink cubes.

Patterned Paper – Gorgeous, heavyweight 65lb patterned paper in 6×6 pads (no loose sheets!) featuring designs that coordinate with our cardstock and ink.  Designed by in house artists with no stock images.

. . . . .

We have some pretty awesome stamps and Confetti Cuts dies to share with you today, too!

First up is the latest “critter” set and something tells me that this one is going to be a hit (especially since we have had so many requests for it!).

Squeeeeeel, let me introduce to you…

CURED

And, the coordinating Confetti Cuts…

Before I get to my first card today, let me share with you another new Confetti Cuts die that is part of the January release…

ALL HEART COVER PANEL

For my first project today, I combined the CURED stamps and Confetti Cuts dies along with the new ALL HEART COVER PANEL

When I received the samples of the CURED set, I immediately sat down to watercolor the images.  I didn’t even have the new ink colors yet, but I got out by watercolor palette and colored the images that I used on the cards that I am sharing today.

I cut the ALL HEART COVER PANEL from white cardstock and then layered it on top of the white card base.  From there, I layered the images from the CURED set on top of a circle cut from the LACY SCALLOP CIRCLES Confetti Cuts die set.  The heart was added at the last moment because I thought that the focal image needed just that “little something”…

One more detail shot…

The finishing touch on this card is the Cappuccino TWINE that I wrapped 3x around the top and tied in a bow.

. . . . .

I pretty much *always* do a white card base.  I don’t have any rhyme or reason to why; it’s just something I started doing way back when and it’s just what I use as my base.  So when I realized just how cute it would be to use MIST cardstock as the base of this card, I may have twitched just a little.  I sure love how it came out though…

To create this scene, I used the rounded edge from the EDGERS Confetti Cuts die set and cut LIME GREEN cardstock.  From there, I added the fence adorned with the heart banner to the top of the “hill” and placed the piggy in a mud puddle.  The puddle is from the WEATHER IT TOGETHER Confetti Cuts die set…

The clouds are also from the WEATHER IT TOGETHER Confetti Cuts die set and I added a button tied off with Cappuccino TWINE.

 . . . . .

One of the things that I love about paper crafting is creating cute lil’ gifties.  With that in mind, I set out to create the perfect (mini) gift box and some fun coordinating Confetti Cuts dies to go with it…

GOODIE BOX

GOODIE BOX ADDITIONS

I created this trio using the GOODIE BOX and GOODIE BOX ADDITIONS Confetti Cuts…

You’ll notice that on the box, two of the flaps are just a bit longer than the other two.  This is so you can (more) easily close the box using a clip, like I did here…

Each side of this box is about 1.74″

This box is cut from the new PIGGY BANK cardstock.  The front of the box is embellished with cuts from the GOODIE BOX ADDITIONS Confetti Cuts (in CLOUD WHITE, FLAMINGO & SALSA).  The top of the box is clipped together with a mini clothespin that has a sparkly pipe cleaner bow…

This next box features a window created with the GOODIE BOX ADDITIONS Confetti Cuts.  The box is cut from FLAMINGO cardstock and the window frame is cut from SALSA.  To close this box, I simply tied a gingham ribbon and tied it on top…

The 3rd box in the trio is cut from ROSE cardstock, tied off with a pink ribbon that has a tag (created with the GOODIE BOX ADDITIONS Confetti Cuts) attached with Maraschino TWINE

 . . . . .

You’ve gotta see what the Confetti Crew has come up with using these fun new products.  You may even see a couple more new products along the way, too!  Don’t forget to leave a comment at each stop along the way to have a chance to win a gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store!
