. . . . .

As you know, I have been undergoing treatment for breast cancer since January.  Last Wednesday was my last big chemo and I am happy that this hurdle is now behind me.  Here’s a pic of me from Wednesday (holding up my ASU pitchforks to represent the 6th treatment)…

I still have a long road ahead of me with surgery, radiation and more meds.  I am thankful for good doctors…and good insurance.  Sadly, many women with breast cancer suffer not only from the cancer (and the yucky treatments), but also suffer financially.  With this in mind, I knew that I had to do something.  A few months ago, Jennifer McGuire introduced me to THE PINK FUND at a LulaRoe party.  I am so happy that she did as I think this is such a wonderful cause to support.  Jennifer will be joining us tomorrow for some additional inspiration using the ONE DAY AT A TIME set.

The Pink Fund provides 90 day non-medical cost-of-living expenses to breast cancer patients in active treatment for breast cancer, so they can focus on healing, raising their families, and returning to the workplace.

Proceeds from our new set, ONE DAY AT A TIME, will be donated to THE PINK FUND.  If you are able, we highly encourage you to donate on their site, too.  You can do that HERE.

ONE DAY AT A TIME

This set contains positive and uplifting sentiments meant to boost the spirits of those in need.

Before I share my first project today, I would also like to introduce you to the latest stencil in our lineup…

LEAF LATTICE

I combined the ONE DAY AT A TIME sentiment set with the LEAF LATTICE Stencil and the (previously released) BUTTERFLY DREAMS Confetti Cuts die set to create this card…

I started by stamping the sentiment, “brave, brilliant, resilient” in NAVY ink on the card base.  I used the stencil along with transparent embossing paste on the ICED AQUA cardstock strip to create the panel on the right.  I added the NAVY cardstock mat/strip as it really needed something to anchor it.

I used Distress Oxide inks and on the butterfly cuts and then added them to the card.

Detail shot…

. . . . .

I have two more introductions for you today before I send you on your way to see what the Confetti Crew has created…

SIMPLY SENTIMENTS

ROUND TOP TAG

Can I just say that I LOVEEEEE  the ROUND TOP TAG!  I decided to use it a bit differently here and created a little treat holder by taking 2 and scoring about 1 inch from the bottom on each and attaching them together…

The stripes are stamped in LIME GREEN, PIGGY BANK, SUNSHINE and ICED AQUA ink atop the ROUND TOP TAG.  I then stamped the “You Are Awesome” sentiment in NAVY on top…

I attached the heart topper, from the HANG UPS, TOO Confetti Cuts die set (cut from SUNSHINE Cardstock) on top and added a button tied off with MIDNIGHT BLUE Twine.

Inside is a sweet treat…

. . . . .

I had so much fun making the first treat holder, I decided to make another!  This one, as you can see, is a little different…

To create this one, I used 4 ROUND TOP TAG Confetti Cuts, scored them about an inch from the top and created a box.  I added the striped paper from the new PATTERN PLAY 6×6 Paper Pad to the front of each panel, tied a ribbon around and filled it with a bunch of delicious caramels…a perfect easy peasy treat box!

Here’s a peek of the inside/how it was constructed…

. . . . .

You’ve gotta see what the Confetti Crew has come up with using these fun new products.  You may even see a couple other new products along the way, too!  Don’t forget to leave a comment at each stop along the way to have a chance to win a gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store!

COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI: WORK OF ART, ROLLIN’ & TAKE FLIGHT

Greetings, ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to DAY TWO of the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI (and our 4th BIRTHDAY BASH)!  If you missed DAY ONE, be sure to scroll down so you don’t miss a thing!  CardMaker magazine joined us for a wonderful hop yesterday and there is so much to see!

Today we are introducing 3 new stamp sets along with new Confetti Cuts die sets.  Of course, we are pairing them with our new Confetti Colors of cardstock and ink and the new Pattern Play 6×6 pad.  You may even see the new stencil being used on some of the projects from the Confetti Crew.

Again, here is our Countdown to Confetti schedule…

Don’t forget to leave a comment here and on each sneak peek post this week for a chance to win!

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion.  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed.

. . . . .

I have lots of product introductions for you today, so let’s get to it!

When I was first planning the sets for this release I had SO MANY IDEAS that I had sketched out.  What took up a couple of large notebook papers ended up as 3 stamp sets.  These are all fun and fresh and I think that you will find yourself playing with them quite a bit!

First in today’s fabulous line up …

WORK OF ART

Coordinating Confetti Cuts

Before I get to my card using WORK OF ART, let me introduce one of my favorite Cover Panels in the RC line up…

SWOOSH COVER PANEL

I had a lot of fun creating this card…

I used our CLOUD WHITE Cardstock and Zig Watercolor Brush Pens to create the watercolored background.   The CLOUD WHITE Cardstock is PERFECT for creating watercolor background like this!  After it was all dry, I cut it using the SWOOSH COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts die.

I decided to keep the inlays on the left side and layer the pieces from the WORK OF ART set on top.  The “wet paint” look was achieved by adding clear Nuvo Drops on top of the stamped/colored images and cuts.

With this set you can stamp the paint images onto the palette, stamp and cut them or cut and then color in the paint colors.

Detail shot of sentiment…

. . . . .

Next up in our product introductions is a playful and whimsical set…

TAKE FLIGHT

Coordinating Confetti Cuts

I know that a lot of the Confetti Crew members showed off this fabulously fun Confetti Cuts die set yesterday.  Honestly, it was the first one that I reached for when I sat down to create for this release.

HELLO & THANKS LABEL

This Confetti Cuts die set cuts the label panel out and leaves the stitching on the negative.  Also included in this set are the words “hello” and “thanks” as I find those are just a couple sentiments that I use the most.

As you know, I am not much for techniques, but I do LOVE creating shakers…

The inside of the shaker is patterned paper from the new PATTERN PLAY 6×6 Paper Pad.  I stamped the “Let Your Dreams Take Flight” sentiment on top of the pattern paper and then layered the shaker portions of the card from there.

I thought the bottom portion of the card was looking a little bare, so I added a strip of LIME GREEN cardstock stamped with the slanted lines from the ELEMENTAL STRIPES with LIME GREEN ink.  I then wrapped it with HONEYDEW Twine.

TIP:  Need more height between your acetate and shaker base?  Use window seal from a hardware store.  It’s the perfect height and it comes in a roll, so you won’t be left with lots of spaces for the sequins to sneak out.

Detail shot of the sentiment, image and stitched detailing…

Shake, shake, shake…

. . . . .

Ready for the 3rd and final set introduction for today?

ROLLIN’

Coordinating Confetti Cuts

And, one more Confetti Cuts die introduction before I share my last card for today…

VERTICAL STRIPE COVER PANEL

I wanted to do something just a little different using this Cover Panel, so I used it as a slanted panel atop this card (and I really like how it turned out!)…

The skates, from the ROLLIN’ stamp set, are colored with Copics and cut from their coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…

The “Let the Good Times Roll” sentiment is stamped and embossed on a circle cut from the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set.  I almost didn’t emboss it, but I am so glad that I did, as it is just what this card needed.

For a finishing touch, I added the sequins that coordinated with the roller skates.

. . . . .

You’ve gotta see what the Confetti Crew HAS come up with using these fun new products.  You may even see a couple other new products along the way, too!  Don’t forget to leave a comment at each stop along the way to have a chance to win a gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store!

Well, ‘Fetti Fans, here it goes!  You know the drill…sit back, enjoy that cuppa and all of the Confetti Creativity we have in store for you today!

This release contains 7 new stamp sets, 10 new Confetti Cuts die sets, 4 new colors of cardstock, ink (full size pads, cubes and re-inkers available), a new stencil and a new 6×6 paper pad.

First, let’s take a look at the new Confetti Colors…

Note, this completes our core Confetti Colors with coordinating cardstock and ink.  We do have plans to bring on more ink colors in our upcoming releases.  Stay tuned for more information on that exciting news!

Cardstock – Premium 100lb cardstock that coordinates with our Confetti Colors Ink.   These will be available in 12 sheets of single color and 12 sheet multi-color sheet packs.

Ink – Premium Dye Ink that coordinates with our Confetti Colors Cardstock.  Available in full pads, re-inkers and 4 packs of ink cubes.

Check out this AWESOME new 6×6 papd pad, too!  Eeep!!…I literally squealed when I got this in my hands and it pairs perfectly with all of the other new release goodies!

. . . . .

Of course, we have new stamps and Confetti Cuts dies, too!

Today we are introducing not one, but TWO new “critter” sets (YAY!!).

THINK PINK

And, the coordinating Confetti Cuts

Before I get to my card using this adorable feathered friends, let me introduce you to…

SUNBURST TAG LAYER

This is the latest tag layer that layers on top of the base tag from our TOPPED OFF TAG.

Now, I’m ready to share my card with you! *wink*

For this card, I started with a white card base and then added the largest frame from the ALL FRAMED UP Confetti Cuts die set.  From there I added a circle cut from the new PATTERN PLAY 6×6 Paper Pad with the Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts die set.

The tag uses the tag base from the TOPPED OFF TAG cut from the new SUNSHINE cardstock and then I added the SUNBURST TAG LAYER in BUTTERCUP cardstock (popped up with dimensional adhesive).

From there, I added my watercolored images.  First the water/greenery images and then the 2 flamingos facing each other.

The sentiment is stamped in MIDNIGHT ink below the main image panel…

For a finishing touch, I added the yellow button tied off with STRAWBERRY Twine.

. . . . .

Next up is a pair of critters that you are just going to want to squeeze!  Seriously, how adorable are these guys???…

MISO HAPPY

Coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…

I had so much fun creating a scene using the images from this set!  I did “borrow” the sun from the THINK PINK set at the very end to complete this card.  I love how it came out…

First, I stamped several bamboo and rock images and colored them with Copic markers.  I layered those on the LACY SCALLOP FRAME layer and then added the darling lil’ pandas with their bowls.  I set that layer aside while I adhered the patterned paper layer (from the PATTERN PLAY 6×6 pad) and stamped the “you make miso happy) sentiment on the bottom right corner.  I then popped up the main image panel on top.

Detail shot…

. . . . .

You’ve gotta see what the Confetti Crew + the CardMaker team have come up with using these fun new products.  You may even see a couple other new products along the way, too!  Don’t forget to leave a comment at each stop along the way to have a chance to win a gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store!
