OCTOBER BLOG HOP

Greetings, ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s time for our monthly blog hop! If you’re new to Reverse Confetti, we hop on the 8th of every month.  New product is released on the 8th of every other month (Jan, March, May…).  The Confetti Crew always has an abundance of inspiration to share with you, so sit back, relax and click on through this fabulous hop!

. . . . .

As many of you know, I have battled breast cancer this year and my crafting time has been a little more limited.  I’m so happy that I have been able to sneak away and create for this hop today.  I created a card using a variety of different Confetti Cuts dies and I love how it turned out…

The base of the card is covered in polka dot paper from the EVERY LITTLE BIT 6×6 paper pad.  I then combined the Wonky Stripes Panel cut from LEAD cardstock and layered it with a piece of RUST cardstock.

From there, I cut two LEAFY WREATH cuts (in STONE cardstock) and pulled up some of the leaves on the top one for texture/dimension.  Atop of the wreath is HELLO cut from MIDNIGHT and ICED AQUA cardstock that I layered, slightly offset.  As a finishing touch, I added the enamel dots.

Confetti Camera

Howdy, ‘Fetti Fans and Happy Thursday!

We have another great Confetti Camera for you today.

In this weekly (usually Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.
For this round each of our designers are showcasing our ink and cardstock in their favorite color palette.  This is a fun way to see what you can do with your Confetti Colors!
A couple of things to note:
1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.
2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.
In the spotlight today is the talented, AUDREY TOKACH…

. . . . .

To create my card, I started off by cutting an A2 card base from Stone card stock.  I adhered a piece of patterned paper from the Under The Umbrella paper pad on an angle on the bottom  1/3 of the card base.    Just above the patterned paper, I added a thin strip of Midnight card stock.  I stamped and colored several images from the Build a Bunch stamp set, and then diecut them with the coordinating Build a Bunch Confetti Cuts die set.  To fill in my bouquet some more, I stamped one of the smaller floral images in Iced Aqua ink, and diecut those as well.  I stamped a sentiment from the One Day at a Time stamp set along the diagonal of the patterned paper in Midnight Ink, then I arranged my bouquet. Before I glued everything down, I decided that I needed to add a bit more black to the card for better balance, so I watered down some black acrylic paint, and spattered it on with a paint brush.  Once it was dry, I adhered by bouquet to the right of the sentiment.  Most is glued flat with a glue pen, and the two smaller flowers are popped up with foam tape for a little bit of dimension.  I also added white gel pen accents to all of the flowers and leaves.  Finally, to finish things off, I added a scattering of black sequins.

In the spotlight today is the talented, SUSAN LILES…
. . . . .

Well hello there ‘Fetti Fans! It’s me, Susan here with you today with this week’s Confetti Camera segment-– Color Me Mine.  Because I love to make Halloween cards, I’ve chosen my color palette of MidnightRC AquaTangerine and Lime Green.

To start the base of my card, I created a panel from Midnight and some black polkadot print from the new Every Little Bit 6×6 pad.  Then came the various pieces of more MidnightLime Green and Tangerine going horizontally across my card to really make everything just pop!  I used the Boo to You Circle Confetti Cuts set cut from RC Aqua with a Midnight circle backing the piece.  All that was left was to add a spooky bit of fun with the spiderweb and spider from the Too Cute to Spook stamp set, and also the extra sentiment from the new Haunt It stamp set.  I love how the spider dangles loosely from his web!

Okay that’s all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope I’ve inspired you to get stampy and inky!  Oh, and eat a little candy corn for me, too!
