Hello crafty friends! I'm Lien and I'm back with yet another rainbow Christmas card, because you can't have enough of those, right?

For this card I started out with my background panel. I used the string of lights from the Polar Party stamp set to fill up a piece of Canson Montval 200 gsm watercolor cardstock. I initially cut this piece to be larger than I needed it to be so I could trim it down with a rectangle die later. To stamp this I didn't want to use my Misti because it would've taken too long, but I did put my cardstock on the foam insert of the Misti because that will help you get a nice impression each time even with an acrylic block. I used clear embossing ink to stamp this and then embossed it with WOW Metallic Silver embossing powder.

I colored in that background panel in two steps. First I colored in all the lights with a rainbow of watercolors and then I went back in with a wet brush (just clean water) and blended that color from each light outside of the lines a little bit to create a halo around them. I also stamped a couple of critters from the Polar Party stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed it with WOW Clear Gloss Super Fine embossing powder. I did some quick loose watercoloring for all of these, bringing the rainbow colors from the background back in for the accessories. I cut them out with the Coordinating Confetti Cuts and set them aside.

The last thing I die cut was the Ornament Confetti Cut and I cut it three times out of thick white cardstock and once from a silver glitter cardstock. I layered those all together with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue and then it was time to assemble the card! I propped my background panel up on a piece of cardboard for extra dimension, glued on the silver Ornament and I propped the critters up on some foam tape. I also added a sentiment strip, silver embossed on black cardstock and propped that up on foam tape too. For a finishing touch I added a couple of white iridescent gems here and there!
