Hello Fetti Fans! Ali here today with some Sketched Florals in pretty greens. This layering set is just perfect for me - I don't have to worry about perfect layering stamping as the images are meant to have a 'looser' look where they do not need to line up perfectly - love this!
I was inspired by a pretty card by Ushii Landia on instagram to create a wreath of leaves with the stamps and of course I had to use my Stitched Rays Cover Panel (one of my favorites!) for some texture on the background..
I started by smooching some Distress Oxide inks - Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. (I used some inexpensive watercolour cardstock for this by the way - which worked fine - it was from Kmart here in Aus Anko Watercolour Artists Pad. This is not terribly thick quality but a really nice 'white' in color which I like). I die cut this with the Stitched Rays Cover Panel.
I stamped the outlines in Forest Moss and the fill stamps with Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint and Twisted Citron. I die-cut all images once dry.
I stamped an image from Sentimental Gems on a circle piece and layered the floral images around the back of it. I adhered the background to a white card base and the florals to the front. Such a pretty look - I'm thinking of doing more in some different colors!
Thanks for stopping by!
Ali xx
