Hello crafty friends! Lien here with a fun Halloween project using the Boo Day stamp set from the latest release. I love these Halloween critters, they're just so adorable!

I started by stamping those onto Clairefontaine DCP 250 gsm cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, any ink that's suitable for alcohol markers will work. I colored these images in with my alcohol markers (you can see the coloring process in the video linked below if you're curious) but the gist of it is: I go from darkest to lightest, going back and forth and layering my coloring until I'm happy with how smooth my blend is.

I fussy cut these images out (the matching dies are available here, I'm just a weirdo who thinks fussy cutting is relaxing). And then I moved on to my background. I die cut the Reverse Confetti Stitched Scallops Cover Die from Canson Montval 300 gsm watercolor cardstock because I'm going to do some ink smooshing. I recommend you use watercolor cardstock for that because it is a wet technique and not all paper holds up well with that. I pressed my inks onto a slick surface, added some water and picked that watered down ink up with some plastic packaging. You can then press that down onto your paper and that gives you more control of where you put down your color.

I also used those same inks to darken up the edges, just by blending them on with a blending brush. I painted on a frame so I could ground my images and added splatter as well. I glued that background panel onto a topfolding notecard and propped my images up on some foam squares. For a matching envelope I just folded one with the We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board and blended on the same inks.

Thank you so much for visiting the Reverse Confetti blog, it's my first post here and I'm so honored to join the team! You can find the video for this project right here.
