Hi crafty friends! Today I'm back with a card and video using the adorable Birthday Buddies stamp set. Perfect for, you guessed it, cute birthday cards!

For this card I used the kitten from the Birthday Buddies stamp set in alcohol marker friendly ink and colored it in. I made sure to use a cool color for the gift box because I knew I was going to use warm colors for the background and this would create a nice contrast. If you want to see the full coloring process, make sure to check out the video below!

I used the Dot to Dot stamp set to create a mandala background. I wasn't too fussed about making it perfect but you could always draw guidelines in pencil before you start stamping. It's easy if you start in the middle and work your way outwards. When all the full circles were stamped, I added some open circles in Versamark ink to emboss in silver embossing powder.

I die cut the frame from the Layered Mom and Frame die set out of silver glitter cardstock and adhered that on a cardbase, inlaying the panel with the mandala as well. I propped the kitten up on some foam tape and added a sentiment. I also added some silver gems to expand the mandala and add some extra sparkle! You can find the entire process over on YouTube!
