Hello! Tricia here with you today to share a back to school surprise for your favorite teacher, mom, dad, friend or family that will be helping you get through this crazy year! I created this little chubby pencil gift card holder with a cute tag!
I made the gift card holder with the Scalloped Bag & Tags Creator and Stitched Squares Confetti Cuts. I die cut three of the Scalloped Bag from Sunshine cardstock. I scored at 3/8 inch on both pieces at the bottom and attached together with adhesive. To build the pencil and the eraser I used the Stitched Squares and die cut from Sand, Midnight, and Rose cardstocks.
For the eraser, I trimmed it down to fit the scalloped bag. I left the stitching on the top of the eraser. I then added a small skinny strip of Stone cardstock. For the pencil part, I cut the square in half. I then adhered it to the scalloped end and trimmed the edges off. I then trimmed the Midnight square corners off to create the lead. I did it on both sides of the scalloped bag panel. Here is a picture of the back panel.
For the inside, I added a die cut Stitched Square from white cardstock and then trimmed down one of the Sunshine Scalloped Bag Panels and adhere it to the opposite side to create a pocket to hold a gift card.
For the tag, I die cut Square Window Tag Confetti Cuts from Mist cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from Best Sentiments with black ink. The images are from Crafty Critters. I stamped them onto Premier Polar White cardstock and then colored with my Copic markers. I die cut the out with the matching Crafty Critters Confetti Cuts. I adhered it with foam tape to the front of the pencil card and then added a button. The little clip holds the gift card holder closed.
I wish you all a crafty fun day!
