Here are the two cards side by side, so you can see how similar they are. This makes for quick die cutting.
I chose a sentiment from Mixed Messages and a sympathy greeting. I used Buttercup card stock for my card base and layered the Plaid Lines-Small in Premium Polar White over top. I tucked in the floral stems to the top of the sentiment panel and popped it up for a bit of dimension. Here is another look.
For the holiday card, I went with one of my favorite holiday color combos-aqua, red, and white. I cut the card base with Iced Aqua card stock and added the Plaid Lines-BIG over top. Again, it's a subtle difference but can totally change the look of the card.
This time I shifted the sentiment panel to the bottom and stamped a simple sentiment from Yuletide Mice in Midnight ink. I then added the floral stems from Botanicals on each side of the greeting.
I added some twine and enamel dots for some added texture and that homemade feel.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day!
