Hello and Happy Wednesday, ‘Fetti Fans!
It’s time for WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS.
What is WEDNESDAY IN THE WORKS? It’s not really about one thing in particular, but rather “the works” of a stamped card or project. A variety of topics will be covered in this segment… from color combos to shaped cards to inspiration pieces to mixing and matching stamps and/or papers…and everything in between.
Today, I’m sharing a charm that I created using the CLASS ACT stamp set and CLASS ACT Confetti Cuts…
Here’s the easy peasy how-to on creating this fun charm that makes a great addition to any packaging…
First, cut out:
1 stamped image apple
1 green cardstock leaf
4 thin chipboard apples
2 thin chipboard leaves
Next, stack and adhere the apples together and the leaves together. Using a Crop-o-dile, punch a hole at the top of the apple.
Attach the leaf to the apple, add a linen thread bow and then thread a ball chain through. Sidenote: I just *had to have* this mini ball chain when I found it at a craft show 5+ years ago. This is the first time I have used it. Lesson…never doubt that you need something. It will come in handy one day. (Yea, that’s what I’ll keep telling myself…LOL!)
Here it is attached to a SWEET TREAT TENT that I cut down to make a little shorter and then added the DOUBLE EDGE SCALLOP BORDER to. The sentiment is from the CLASS ACT stamp set…
It’s also a fun and easy way to dress up a store bought bag. After the gift has been opened the charm can be attached to a school bag, etc.
