Hello and Happy Thursday!

We’re glad that you are joining us for this week’s Confetti Camera!

In this weekly segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.  For this round, you’ll get a dose of Reverse Confetti inspiration from a fun tip or technique from each of our designers.  A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such on Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will answer the same set of questions/show a tip until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme).  To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

Today the spotlight is on Confetti Crew member, LISA HENKE

Here’s Lisa’s project using WHOLE LOTTA HEARTS, CRUSHIN’ and the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts…

Hello! I’m so happy to be here today and have the chance to share a quick and easy technique to show off your sentiments and dies. I loved the comments I had on THIS tag.

I did for the latest release. I wanted to show you how this Spotlight Technique can help your words pop in a few easy steps!

I am still in the LOVE mood, so I have a lovey card today to show off one of my favorite sentiments from the new Crushin’ stamp set. I used the smallest heart from Love Notes Confetti Cuts to add that WOW factor with this Spotlight Technique.

Here’s how.

1. Cut out the papers you want to use for your sentiment. You’ll need two different colors or patterns. My base will be the polka dotted print and the grey is for my Heart and will be the Spotlight.

2. Stamp your sentiment on the base piece of paper first.

3. On your Spotlight shape (really can be anything: circles, paper strips, and even hearts like I did here) stamp your sentiment again in the same colored ink.

4. Line up your Spotlight piece over top of the base paper. Take great care that you have all your lines matched up. I like to do this first without adhesive to get a feel for exactly where it goes. Once you have it just right…..Add adhesive.

That’s it. I hope you’ll give it a try.
