Hello from Lisa Henke! As a paper crafter, it is always fun to add a little handmade touch to a gift, and this round of the Confetti Camera segment is the perfect excuse to do that. The theme is For a Friend! The Rachel Hollis book, "Girl, Wash Your Face" is all the rage and has been sitting at the top of the Best Sellers list for awhile now. I have been dying to read it, so I picked it up at the store last week. It's also the perfect  gift to give to your girlfriend, and it just took a few minutes to dress it up. Let's me show you.

I love using pattern paper to make a band for lots of different packaging and then I just add some ribbon and a tag to complete the look. I don't like to measure, so after I cut three 2 inch strips of pattern paper ( I used Every Little Bit here) and attached the ends together, I  then gently wrapped the strip around the book until the end met and snipped off the excess. I wasn't worried about the seams, they are easy to camouflage with some ribbon and the tag. I tied on some olive ribbon and cut the Dashed Line Tag Confetti Cuts from the leaf print paper from Every Little Bit and attached that with some natural twine.

For my accent pieces, I water colored some of the leaf images from the new Fall Foliage stamp set. After they were dried I cut them out with the Fall Foliage Confetti Cuts. The sentiment is from  Mod Floral Stack and was stamped in Lime Green ink onto a strip of Stone card stock. I used used a hole punch to create a hole and tied it on with a few of the leaf images.

I created a coordinating card, sticking with the same color combo and using a few more of the Fall Foliage water colored leaves. I started this one with the cool texture of the Striped Circle Cover Panel in Stone card stock. I used the same pattern from Every Little Bit 6x6 paper pad that I used on the tag and added a strip over the card base.

I stamped the sentiment from My Tribe in Olive ink onto a Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cut. I tucked in a few of the leaves I water colored and tied on some twine to finish it off.

No gift bag needed, just tuck the card into the handmade paper band on the book and give to your girlfriend. She'll Love it! Thanks for hanging with me today.
