Greetings, ‘Fetti Fans and TGI (almost)F!

Lots of you are getting your new Reverse Confetti goodies and we cannot wait to see what you create!

It’s Thursday, and it’s time for Confetti Camera!

A little bit about Confetti Camera…

In this weekly (Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.

For this round each of our designers are CASE-ing a card created from one of the other Confetti Crew members.  In stamping terms, CASE means to Copy And Stamp Exactly.  The Crew is taking a previously made card and making it new.  This is a fun way to see what you can do with your stamps and, I think, that it helps you grow as a creative person as it requires you to think outside the box a bit.

A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

In the spotlight today is the sweet and talented, AMY SHEFFER

Happy Thursday, ‘Fetti friends, I’m super excited about our Confetti Camera theme this month! I think there was a collective gasp over the internet the day that Heather Pulvirenti posted this card:

I’ve been wanting to CASE it ever since! In fact, I was so inspired, I made two cards for today.
For this first one, I simply changed out the colors, making this a winter card instead of holiday-specific. I love how the Reverse Confetti color spectrum is coming along. Putting together color combinations is easy! Here I’ve used Stone, RC Aqua, Iced Aqua, Royal Purple, and Cloud White.
The dies for the layered medallion are: smallest Lacy Scallop Circle in the back, circle from the Fresh ‘N Fruity Confetti Cuts set (the orange), small plain circle that’s included in the Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts set, and then the smallest snowflake from the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts set.
For my sentiment, I’ve used Winter Words Confetti Cuts and the Winter Word Coordinates stamp set. The only other change I made was to add a layer of vellum behind the snowflake medallions. I stitched along the top and tore along the bottom. I think the vellum adds a nice frosty look to the card.
For my second card, I changed out the colors to the beautiful reds and pinks from the January release to make a Valentine card.
Instead of snowflakes, I used layered stitched hearts from the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts for my medallion centers.
The sentiment is from Crazy About You.
Thanks for joining me today! And a big thanks to Heather for the inspiration!
