Hey, Fetti Fans!  It’s Thursday and time for Confetti Camera!

A little bit about Confetti Camera…

In this weekly (Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.

For this round each of our designers are working on Celebrations!  However, there is a little something different…I have challenged them to use black, white and ONE other color.  I think you are going to LOVE what you see!

A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

Up in the spotlight today is the sweet and talented, Heather Pulvirenti

Hi ‘Fetti Fans! Heather P. here today with my take on the black, white and one other color theme.  I love the boldness of black and white paired together with a single color, I think it just naturally lends itself to graphic designs.

To create my card, I started by first die cutting white and black cardstock using the Geometric Confetti Cuts.  I then adhered the black die cut to a piece of chartreuse textured cardstock, then used some of the white triangle negative die cut pieces to fill in some of the background.  The layers were then adhered to a white card base with foam tape.

Next, I used the Circles ‘n Scallops Confetti Cuts on a piece of white cardstock to create a circle die cut for the sentiment.  I masked off part of the sentiment from A Friend Like You, then inked up the exposed portion with black ink.  I stamped the sentiment onto the die cut circle, cleaned the stamp, then masked off the other part of the sentiment before inking it up with green ink.  I then lined up the stamp with the die cut, and stamped the remainder of the sentiment.

A banner flag was then created using the Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts on black cardstock, and it was then adhered behind the stamped sentiment circle.  To finish up, I adhered the flag and sentiment circle to the card front using foam tape, and embellished with glitter white enamel dots.

Well, that wraps it up for me today, but be sure to come back tomorrow for more Reverse Confetti inspiration!
