Hello, ‘Fetti Fans…

It’s Thursday and time for Confetti Camera!

A little bit about Confetti Camera…

In this weekly (Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.

For this round each of our designers are working on Celebrations!  However, there is a little something different…I have challenged them to use black, white and ONE other color.  I think you are going to LOVE what you see!

A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

Up in the spotlight today is the sweet and talented, Susan Liles

Hi ‘Fetti Fans, welcome to another round of Confetti Camera!  I was excited to create a card using just black, white and one other color.  I had black, white and YELLOW on my brain, so that’s what I stuck with. I tried to wear those colors the other day, but my kids thought I looked like a bumblebee.  I quickly changed clothes. This was my chance to finally use those colors!

I’m usually not a “clean and simple” kind of girl, but I kept this card that way, resisting the urge to add “just a little more”.  I stamped around the edges of a piece of white cardstock (the same size as my card base) with the SO STRIPEY stamp set and then topped it off with a white piece a little smaller to create the striped edge around my card.

I cut a black circle from the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts set and embellished it with the bright yellow HELLO Confetti Cut.  I added it to the card using pop dots and then centered the “friend” right below it from the FANCY WORDS Confetti Cuts.

One thing about this being so sweet and simple, is that it makes it super easy to duplicate!  How fun would it be to create a set of them and just change the “hello” color!?!?!  What a cute gift set that would be!
