Howdy ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s Thursday and time for CONFETTI CAMERA!

In this weekly segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations. For this round, you’ll get a dose of Reverse Confetti inspiration from a fun tip or technique from each of our designers. A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such on Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will answer the same set of questions/show a tip until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

3) For this round we are focusing on how Reverse Confetti stamp sets are compatible with each other and each of the Confetti Crew members is picking two of their favorites to pair together on their project.

Today on Confetti Camera, the spotlight is on the one and only, HEATHER PULVIRENTI

Hi ‘Fetti Fans! Heather P. here today to share a card I created for this month’s color challenge, pairing together two of my favorite sets, BEAUTIFUL BANNERS and PETALS ‘N POSIES, plus one of my go to background sets, SO STRIPEY.

To create my card, I started with a kraft card base, and stamped the front with the single stripe from So Stripey in Versmark ink to create my background.  Next, I cut a strip of white CS, and stamped it with some of the images from Petals ‘n Posies, before heat embossing them with white powder.  Once that was done, I blended three different ink colors onto the embossed layer, and adhered it to a piece of light pink CS.  Twine was wrapped around the panel three times and tied in a bow before adhering the panel to the card front.  I then stamped one of the banner and sentiment images onto orange CS and heat embossed with white powder, before cutting it out with the coordinating BEAUTIFUL BANNERS Confetti Cuts.  To finish up my card, I attached the banner to the card front with pop dots, and embellished with fuchsia enamel dots.
