Hello ‘Fetti Fans and Happy Thursday!

Thank you to everyone for making this a fabulous release!  We have been working very hard to get these orders out the door and into your hands.  We can’t wait to see what you create.  Please share your RC creations with us!  #reverseconfetti

Thursday means it’s time for CONFETTI CAMERA…yay!!

A little bit about Confetti Camera…

In this weekly (Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.

For this round each of our designers are CASE-ing a card created from one of the other Confetti Crew members.  In stamping terms, CASE means to Copy And Stamp Exactly.  The Crew is taking a previously made card and making it new.  This is a fun way to see what you can do with your stamps and, I think, that it helps you grow as a creative person as it requires you to think outside the box a bit.

A couple of things to note:

1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.

2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.

Up in the spotlight today is the very talented…LISA HENKE

Hello fetti fans! It’s Lisa Henke with this week’s Confetti Camera post. We have a new theme and I am super excited about it. It’s called CASE It! Our team is full of fabulous talent and this go-round we get to pick one team member to CASE.

I spent well over an hour scrolling through past RC projects drooling over them all. I finally settled on this card by Amy Rohl. I have always been a long time fan of hers. Her style is clean and fresh and always impressive.

For the theme, I had to change 3 things on my card. I chose to make a holiday card, I used a different color combo, and I switched up the shapes (snowflakes instead of stars and circle in place of the pocket). I kept the fun layout and the Cloud White card base. confetticamera-case

I used the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts and layered those onto a Lacy Scallop Circle cut with Warm Heart 6×6 Paper Pad. I cut the word “merry” from Winter Words Confetti Cuts in Brick cardstock (cut three times and glued together) and finished the sentiment with Winter Words Coordinates stamp set.  I stamped it onto the new banner from Greetings Frame Confetti Cuts die set. I mounted this all on to a Cloud White Documented rounded rectangle.

Of course I don’t love my card as much as Amy’s, but it was so fun to create. I love having a stash of holiday cards ready to go. Thanks for hanging with me today!
