A little bit about Confetti Camera…
In this weekly (Thursday) segment, one of the Confetti Crew designers will have the camera on both themselves, as a designer, and on their Reverse Confetti creations.
For this round each of our designers are showcasing our ink and cardstock in their favorite color palette. This is a fun way to see what you can do with your Confetti Colors!
A couple of things to note:
1) This segment will not “air” if there is a different post scheduled for that day, such as Sketch for You to Try on the 1st of each month or on a hop or sneak peek day.
2) Each designer will follow the same theme until we have featured every Confetti Crew Design Team Member (then it’s a new round with new questions/theme). To see previous Confetti Camera post, simply click on “Confetti Camera” under the categories link on our sidebar.
In the spotlight today is the talented AMY ROHL…
. . . . .
Welcome, ‘Fetti Fans! It’s Amy here with you today with the latest Confetti Camera theme – Color Me Mine. Loving all things nautical, I naturally adore Reverse Confetti’s Seaside stamp set which inspired my chosen colors. I’d originally intended to use Iced Aqua, Navy, Coral and Sand but decided to add in a happy sunrise in my design and added in Sunshine to round out my palette.
I started by creating the sunrise using the Sunburst Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and then added in ocean waves and a sandy beach. The Iced Aqua waves were created with the Wonky Double Edge Scallop Border Confetti Cuts, and the beach was created by tearing a piece of Sand Cardstock and then lightly sponging it with Sand ink.
I then stamped the images from Seaside and cut them out using the coordinating Seaside Confetti Cut dies. To create more dimension, I tucked them between the layers of the beach scene and finished with a stamped sentiment from Seaside in Sand ink.
I hope you’re inspired by my Color Me Mine palette and find a little crafty time to put it into action. Thanks for joining me for today’s Confetti Camera.
