Let’s kick off today with an introduction to a modern layering

floral set that can be used year round…

Here’s how you can use the stamps together…

One more intro before I hop into my projects for today…

This detailed frame Confetti Cuts die set is AMAZING!

Note, that due to the large and detailed nature of this die set, you may find it best to rotate the die with the material being cut for best results.

My first project to share with you today is a set of cards using a combination of the BLOOMS ‘N BUDS stamps and Confetti Cuts along with the LACY SCALLOP FRAMES

The large flowers are stamped in TANGERINE INK on our CLOUD WHITE CARDSTOCK.  I added the (in my stash) navy flower centers for the perfect (IMHO) color combo/contrast.  The leaves are stamped in LIME GREEN INK on LIME GREEN CARDSTOCK.  I love the tone on tone look here!

Sentiment from WITH LOVE

Sentiment from A FRIEND LIKE YOU

This was a clean and simple design that was easy to replicate and add different sentiments to, making it a great go-to layout year round.

. . . . .

I’ve had a lot of fun with these flowers!  On my next card, I first stamped the large bloom in white pigment on the ICED AQUA CARDSTOCK and then added the flower detail on top of it in ICED AQUA INK

Detail shot…

For the focal image of this card I stamped and cut a couple of the flowers from the BLOOMS ‘N BUDS stamp set.  I used both ICED AQUA and TANGERINE INK on the flowers.  On the Tangerine flowers, I added yellow detail with Copic markers.  I had a few tone on tone LIME GREEN leaves left over from the cards above and slipped them into this arrangement.

Next up on introductions is one of my favorite Fall stamps and Confetti Cuts of all time!  Introducing…

One more intro before I get to another card…

Here’s my card using the HAPPY HARVEST stamps and Confetti Cuts along with the LEAVES COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts…

I started with herringbone patterned paper from the new FRIGHT NIGHT 6×6 pad and then layered a kraft and white cut of the new LEAVES COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts die.  To layer and offset these, I cut the kraft panel and then trimmed the sides down.  This made it easy to offset without the edges showing under the white panel.

The focal panel combines the HAPPY HARVEST stamp and Confetti Cuts die set atop the LACY SCALLOP FRAMES Confetti Cuts panel…

There’s a little story behind the detailing on the acorn lid…

I laid the new LOTSA DOTS STENCIL on top of the acorn lid cut and then tapped my ink pad on top (just to see how that would look).  Turns out it looks, well, meh.  There I was left with a meh looking acorn lid and a stencil that had a ton of ink on it.  I grabbed the acorn lid, turned it over and pressed it into the inked side of the stencil and this is what I ended up with.  Kinda cool, huh?…

. . . . .

Before I get to my next project, I have 2 more introductions for you…

. . . . .

This next project is a home decor piece that combines the FRIGHT NIGHT 6×6 pad, HAPPY HARVEST Confetti Cuts, GRATEFUL, THANKFUL, BLESSED Confetti Cuts and WHEAT Confetti Cuts (plus stitched edge from EDGE ESSENTIALS Confetti Cuts)…

This is a RIBBA shadowbox frame from IKEA and I own *a few* of these to create projects like this.

To create this, I started with the green polka dot paper from the FRIGHT NIGHT 6×6 pad and then added the GRATEFUL, THANKFUL, BLESSED Confetti Cuts cut from TANGERINE and CLOUD WHITE CARDSTOCK

Around the edges, I cut kraft cardstock and added stitched detailing with the EDGE ESSENTIALS Confetti Cuts.

The acorns along the bottom are cut from the HAPPY HARVEST Confetti Cuts die set.  For the texture on the acorn lid, I used the LOTSA DOTS stencil with translucent embossing paste and a little bit of glitter (upon my daughter’s suggestion).  The center acorn is adorned with a button tied off with Honeydew TWINE.  Each of the acorns is sponged along the edge to create a little bit of depth.

At each end of the line of acorns, I added cuts from the WHEAT Confetti Cuts die set.

. . . . .
