. . . . .

As the title of this post suggests, we are celebrating.  Being that it’s our birthday month, we designed lots of great celebratory stamps and dies and I think you are going to LOVE what we have in store for you today!

Mark my words, this will be your go to set for all reasons to celebrate!  Mix and match the sentiments along with the confetti image for fun and festive cards and projects.

Since we love the confetti image so much, we made it a little bigger and made it into a Confetti Cuts die!!

This die is a little different in that you will most likely use the negative of the cut rather than the positive.  Of course, you can use those little (positive) bits, too!

My first card today pairs the CELEBRATIONS stamp set along with the FALLING CONFETTI Confetti Cuts die…

This card measures 4.25″ square.  I used the FALLING CONFETTI Confetti Cuts die to create rising bubbles from black cardstock,  I backed it with some shimmery gold cardstock to give it a little bling and appear a little more like champagne.  For a tad bit more glam, I added a few sequins topped off with rhinestones…spar-ka-lay!!

Before I get to my next cards, I want to introduce you to a couple more new Reverse Confetti goodies!

First up is a gorgeous cake set that is so much fun to play with!  I love being able to mix and match all of the different elements to create gorgeous confections.  The bonus is that these are calorie free, too!

And, the coordinating Confetti Cuts die set…

You are seriously going to SWOON when you see what the Confetti Crew has done with this set…my jaw is still sitting on the floor!

Here’s what I came up with…

I had this vision in my head for this card and it came out exactly like I had hoped it would.  That doesn’t happen all the often, so I am going to take it as a huge win!! **wink**

I started by watercoloring the yellow.  While that was drying I watercolored the cake and cake stand.  Once all that was dry, I added the splatters of yellow and stamped the leafy swags on the cake.  Note, for the Confetti Cuts die set the leaves and the scallops are the same size as the stamps.  Why, you ask?  I wanted to be able to get the exact “image” and make it 3-dimensional.

Detail shots…

For the flowers (and other images like this), I found it best to stamp the leaves, die cut them and then stamp the flowers.  For this card, I stamped the flowers in a peachy colored dye ink and then added a little extra detail with my Copics.

The sentiment combination is from the new CELEBRATIONS stamp set…

. . . . .

My next card today features the new CANDLES ‘N CONFETTI stamps and Confetti Cut dies, the CELEBRATIONS stamp set and one more product that I am happy to introduce to you…

This die set features both a solid and outline of the linked garland so that you can layer for added dimension.

On this card, I used the LINKED GARLAND Confetti Cuts die cuts as a border.  To do this, I cut the open die from kraft, the solid from white and then again from the pink (twice for each).  I combined the white and kraft and then pushed it against the edge of the cut from the pink.

On the cake, I stamped the dots and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  I love the simple subtle texture this gives to the cake.  The glow of the candles is created with the pierced circle from the the new DETAILED CIRCLES Confetti Cuts die set.

The pink paper is stamped in white pigment ink with the confetti image from the  CELEBRATIONS stamp set…

How will you combine these new products?  There are so many ways and we can’t wait to see what you create!  Be sure to use #reverseconfetti and @reverseconfetti when uploading to Instagram and Facebook.

There is so much more inspiration to see using these stamps and dies that are releasing on MAY 8th!

Check out the Confetti Crew posts…

And, be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win!

It’s no secret that one of the main reasons that we create cards and other paper crafting projects is because we are celebrating a person or event.  The CELEBRATIONS set is the essential stamp set for creating for each of life’s celebratory moments.  Use it on its own or pair it with one of our other stamp sets for unique and fun creations!  It also features a smaller version of the FALLING CONFETTI Confetti Cuts die as a stamp.  Ink it up and stamp it down to bring a party to your project!

CONFETTI CUTS: Falling Confetti
