So when I started this card, I knew I wanted to use this new set, Party Pals. It's so cute, and it's brand new and I was dying to show you all some of the other images. I love the sweet little cupcake bunny, so I colored up the cutie and used the Party Pals Confetti Cuts to cut it out perfectly. I decided to add a touch of sparkle with some glitter and glue.
See that background? You can't have a cupcake party without some polka dots. I cut out a scrap piece of card stock with the Stitched Circles Cover Panel (currently sold out. sorry. keep checking back.) and used it as a stencil. With a blending brush, I added in Bumble bee ink for my background. You could do this with any of your favorite cover panels. I added some ground detail with Copic markers and stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink. The cloud is from Over The Rainbow, I added a bit of shading with Copics and finished it with some glitter.
For my next card, I used some blues and greens which give it a more masculine feel. I started this one with the Striped Circle Cover Panel and some Island Blue ink. I love the soft feel with the bright color of ink. Again, I cut the panel with some scrap card stock and used it as a stencil.
I colored up the adorable bear sitting on the stack of gifts. I tucked in a few festive balloons and cut them all out with the matching Party Pals Confetti Cuts. I used foam dots to pop up the image over the sentiments I added along the bottom of the card front.
Two relatively quick cards, with one set and a little ink blending. It's always fun to add a few birthday cards to your stash. If you are making one card, why not make two. Happy week!
Super cute!!
Super cute card duo Lisa!
