Hello fetti fans! I'm Lien and I'm back with not one, but TWO videos and Reverse Confetti is giving away a $25 gift card over on YouTube! I made two completely different cards using the So Super stamp set. But I'm only going to explain one here, so make sure you watch both YouTube videos for the second design too and the giveaway of course!

Let's dive right into the first design! For this little scene card I stamped the superhero in alcohol marker friendly ink onto Clairefontaine DCP 250 gsm cardstock. I left the stamp in my Misti while I colored the image (please head on over to YouTube to see how I colored it!) so once I was done coloring I could restamp it with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I also stamped the skyline image onto a separate piece of paper with this same ink and embossed both images at once with WOW Clear Gloss Super Fine embossing powder.

To create the vibrant scene I just added some inkblending going from orange to light yellow, to light blue to dark blue. Just like in my coloring of the superhero I wanted a really dramatic effect going from very light to very dark. This adds to the comic book theme of the card just as the bright colors do. Another thing I added for the comic book theme is the stenciling of the dots on the sky.

I added some lightning bolts (to cover up a smudge in my inkblending, don't tell anyone!) and then added my frame. This is the Double Stitched Window Cover Panel and I diecut that three times out of thick white cardstock stacking them all together after stamping a sentiment on them. I propped the superhero up on some foam tape and that's it!

I also made a matching envelope for this card, which I show in the video below! Again, make sure you head on over to both YouTube videos. Each comment you leave on either of the videos is a chance to win that $25 gift card!
