Hi Fetti Fans! Welcome back to the blog,  Ali here today and I'm getting those Christmas cards done! With postage as slow as it is at the moment, I have been making Christmas cards for a while in the hopes I will send some out early this year! This Christmas card is made with Wreath Of Joy using a simple white and gold color scheme - giving it more of a classic feel.

The background was made first using some white cardstock and the Stitched Bursts Cover Panel which has a slight snowflake feel to it when used with white cardstock. I then used the Wreath of Joy die to cut an appeture in both the background piece and the white cardfront. I then adhered the background piece to the card front, being careful to line them up.

I die cut the pieces on gold and glitter gold cardstock as shown and keeping the card closed, I adhered them into the 'appeture' space that I had die cut in the background and cardfront.

This creates a nice feature to the card where when you open it up the pretty Joy is adhered to the inside of the card. You can still write your message around the Joy and it won't be seen from the front of the card when it is closed.

Hope you enjoyed this card and that it gives you some ideas to create your own version.

Thanks for stopping by!

Ali xx
