Hello crafty friends! I'm so happy to be back with another Easter card using some of my favorite dies from the March release.

I started out by die cutting all of my pieces first. I die cut all of the elements I would need from the Easter Cover Panel confetti cuts out of patterned paper (for the eggs), out of colored paper (base and flowers) and die cut additional layers out of thick white cardstock for the eggs and the flowers as well. I layered all the eggs and flowers together and then added some ink blending to the base and the center of the flowers to add some interest. I did the same for the Big Sun confetti cuts, die cut it out of yellow cardstock and added some orange inkblending to it to give it some more depth.

I also die cut the Double Stitched Window Cover Panel from thick white cardstock and used the Springtime Sentiments stamp set on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the "You're a good egg" sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black and embossed it with WOW Clear Gloss Super Fine embossing powder. On a separate piece of paper (trimmed to be slightly larger than the window) I blended various inks to create a simple sky background that fades from blue to yellow to a hint of orange.

I glued that background on top of my cardbase, added the window panel with foam tape and propped up the sun on foam tape as well. I glued the egg piece down with some liquid glue and to finish it up, I added some pearls to the center of the flowers.
