Hello Fetti Fans! Welcome to another blog post. Ali here with some soft sweetness for you with this Wedding card using Happy Mail for my background and Patterned Hearts for the feature images. I remembered a lovely card by Hannelie Bester that inspired me to try the feature of this card - simple black ink floral stamping behind a contrasting image. I loved the variety of heart patterns in these images so much I had to use a few of them across the card!
The other benefit of this simple design is there is no coloring involved! Just stamping with inks! It's refreshing to have a break from lots of detailed coloring-in now and again. To begin, I stamped the floral images on the card front with my InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I then stamped the hearts in distress oxide inks in Victorian Velvet and Hickory Smoke inks.
I used my mini misti so that I could stamp the hearts repeatedly to get good color coverage and crisp images. I then used the corresponding dies to cut out the hearts and cut 2 larger hearts out of vellum to place behind the pink hearts (with the corresponding dies used for this also).
I adhered the hearts in a alternating color placement over the card front so that the floral images peaked out from behind them. I stamped the sentiment from the So Very Lovely stamp set on black card and white embossed it. I backed it with a small piece of silver glitter paper to help it stand out and added some silver sequins for some more pops of silver.

Hope you enjoyed the card and that you are getting in some fabulous crafting.
Ali xx
