Hello! April here back on the Reverse Confetti blog sharing a new paw-some card! I don't have any pets (allergic to cats and dogs!), but I love creating cards with little animals.

For today's project, I used a few stamps from the Birthday Buddies stamp set. I stamped them with a Copic friendly ink and then lightly colored them in, making sure to use lots of red.

I cut a gray piece of cardstock sized to 4.25" x 5.5" and used the matching Confetti Cut for the doggie to die cut the dog shape from the middle of the panel. I then adhered the panel to an A2 card front using foam tape.

I then added the cut out die cut of the dog to the center of the card in the place I had cut out. Around the dog I added the balloons and pile of bones. I stamped the sentiment using the Birthday Buddies Banter stamp set.

For final touches I used a glitter pen to add sparkle to all the red areas -- ribbon, doggie nose, balloons. Also, I used a white gel pen to add some dots to the top and bottom corners of the card to just add some interest and keep the gray panel from looking too plain.

That is it! This card was pretty quick and you could easily recreate it using a different accent color other than red.
