I am excited to share a new home decor piece I just finished off. If you have followed along with my blog and RC posts, you might recognize this frame. I try to change it up every season or holiday but need to come clean and tell you that I still had my holiday gnome piece in there. So I got busy and finally created a sweet summer piece to place in the frame.

The frame is 6x6, but the opening is 5x5. I started with some kraft corrugated card stock I had in my stash. I then cut out one of my favorite Scalloped Square Confetti Cuts in Mist card stock. The stitched detail just makes me happy. I used the Hex Cover Panel Confetti Cut. and cut it down to fit behind the scalloped square frame. I added some foam dimensionals to pop it up over the corrugated panel.

I then settled on the Happy Bee Day florals and bee images to create a pretty, summery feel for my living room. I stamped them out and then colored them up with Copics. I used the Happy Bee Day Confetti Cuts to quickly cut them out. Here's a closer look at some of that detail.

I needed a sentiment and love the font used with the Cotton & Thistles stamp set. I chose the "happy everything" sentiment. I stamped it in midnight ink in the space between some of the stitched hexagons.

Here is another look at the completed frame. I love how it adds a touch of personality to my coffee table. No one else in my house will probably notice, but I smile when I look at it.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I appreciate all your kind words. Have a great day!
Hugs,
Lisa H.
