Hello and welcome to DAY TWO of our HAPPY FALL-IDAYS event, ‘Fetti Fans!
I hope everyone enjoyed the first day of this special online showcase event that we are hosting this week! I’ve had a blast making and sharing my projects, as has the rest of the Confetti Crew Design Team. There are links to those posting towards the end of this post.
Today is all about Thanksgiving (and, my apologies for being a bit late for Canadian Thanksgiving!).
You are going to see some fabulous place settings and other projects (plus much more) from the Confetti Crew today, but I went in a slightly different direction with my project, a paper wreath…
Coming up with something for today was troubling me for a little white, but then while playing with some stuff on my desk (namely the STITCH FLAG TRIO Confetti Cuts die set), a light bulb went off and this little wreath was born.
Here’s how I created this (it’s really quite simple!)…
I cut an “O” with 2 circles dies (I used my larger Spellbinders circles that I keep in my stash).
Then I cut out 20 of the flag ended panels from the STITCHED FLAG TRIO Confetti Cuts die set. I folded them over the “O,” starting at the bottom, then the top, then the sides and then filling in between. I overlapped 4 of the cuts for a little added dimension, without it being too overpowering.
I noticed that the center did not look quite as “clean” as I would like, so I grabbed my large wreath from the new WREATHS Confetti Cuts and cut one from kraft (I didn’t pop out the centers) and then one from a woodgrain patterned paper and layered them on top of each other and then folded/”fluffed” up the sides on the top one…
It still needed a little something to decorate it and I grabbed the PUMPKIN PATCH stamp and Confetti Cuts, along with the LEAFY Confetti Cuts die set and stamped and layered. I added a few enamel dots and “dew drops” for a bit of texture and detail to finish it off.
When it was all done and just sitting there, I wasn’t immediately sure how to present it. A quick call to the bestie for a creative chat and I added a paper straw and popped it in a bunch of mums, making it the perfect hostess gift or centerpiece.
Of course, either of my kids would have loved to have it hanging on their door, too. It was easy enough that I may just have them make their own!

As you know, there is A LOT more inspiration being shared today by the Confetti Crew. Happy Fall-idays!
