Hi, RC friends! It's Andrea with you sharing a fun, springtime card combining the
Cup of Friendship and
Love Bugs stamp sets.
My idea for this card was to create a window box filled with flowers and have a cute bee hovering above it. To do this I paired a floral image from
Cup of Friendship with one of the bees from
Love Bugs. I colored both images with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
To give the illusion of the exterior of a house, I diecut blue cardstock with the
Pierced Round Top Layers Confetti Cuts and used a scoring board to add "planks". I blended the front of a white card with Milled Lavender Distress Oxide and repeatedly stamped the dotty image from
Sending Smiles to create my "wallpaper".
I created the "window frame" by diecutting white cardstock with two of the
Pierced Round Top Layers dies. I attached the frame to my card with foam tape and stamped a sentiment from
Cup of Friendship. I adhered my colored images with foam, brushed on clear sparkle, and finished with a few clear sequins.
