Hey there! It's Tricia here today sharing two cards that I made with the recently released Hippo Party stamp set. I had so much fun coloring up these images that I had to make two cards! I stamped the images onto Premier Polar White card stock and colored them with my Copic markers. I then die cut them out with the Hippo Party Confetti Cut. I knew that I wanted to do one with a pool scene and then one with a beach scene.
For my pool card, I used the new Bubbles Cover Panel and ink blended with Iced Aqua, Lagoon and Island Blue inks. I then die cut the Bubbles Cover Panel and then kept the interior pieces. I die cut one more white card panel and then layered the inked panel and the white die cut panel together. I then inlayed the inked pieces back in to the Bubble die cut.
I layered this on top of an Iced Aqua card panel that had been stamped with the Pattern Blocks stamp set with Iced Aqua ink. I stamped a sentiment from Hippo Party and then layered the images on my card. For a final detail, I added some crystal sequins.
I love the Hippo with the glasses down on her face! This card turned out so cute, I am giving it to my sister for her birthday!
Now for my beach scene........ I love creating backgrounds with the Cover Panels and this is one of my favorite ways to fill in the interior of the Scalloped Square Frame Confetti Cut.
I made a 4 1/4 square card using the Scalloped Square Confetti Cuts, I die cut the largest one from Iced Aqua and white cardstock. I used the Split Circle Cover Panel and die cut white card stock and then layered this with the Iced Aqua card stock.
I decided to add a stamped ice cream cone for each card using the Ice Cream Social stamp set. Sometimes, it is hard to fit a sentiment onto the front of the card, so I opted to stamp it on the inside. I had so much fun creating these cards! Thanks for joining me today!
Perfect projects Tricia!
