Hello and Happy Monday, ‘Fetti Fans!

This week is going to be AMAAAAZING!  Today we have 3 (really, really AWESOME) introductions to make and then the Countdown to Confetti kicks off on Wednesday and we wrap up the week with our new release on the 8th (hello, Christmas goodies!).  It does not get better than this!

This month we have two incredibly talented designers joining us as ‘Fetti Friends (our special name for our guest designers).  Please give a big warm welcome to…

Hello crafty friends! I’m Yoonsun Hur a South Korean-born Australian and I currently live in Sydney with my husband. I am still learning and enjoying true Australian culture.

I love being creative!! I really love making cards with various and awesome stuff. I have been working as a Graphic designer since 2000 and this career has helped me in many ways when designing cards. I endlessly want to make various attempts and share my creativity with you.

I am a fun-loving stay-at-home mom of two kiddos, and an avid cardmaker from rural Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Scrapbooking caught my interest when my son was born in 2006 but I quickly left that behind for cardmaking. I enjoy experimenting with many cardmaking styles from clean and simple to fun layers, and I don’t think I can be pegged into one particular ‘style’ of creating. If I’m not making cards I can be found geocaching with my family, curled up with a good book, cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays, or trying to start a dance party.

In addition to Yoonsun and Marcie joining us for the month of October, we are also welcoming a wonderfully sweet and talented designer to the Confetti Crew, Melissa Phillips…

I attribute my creative lifestyle to time spent at my mother’s feet while she sewed, reserving the fabric scraps for me to use in any way I could imagine. Once I discovered patterned paper, I was hooked and paper-crafting has become a wonderful and rewarding part of my life, and has been since 2007.

I enjoy the process of working with my hands to turn ordinary paper into something heartfelt. My loves are card-making, mini albums, and wrapping up pretty packages.

My work has been published in various magazines and books and she has enjoyed teaching what she loves in a variety of classes and workshops. I have designed for Papertrey Ink, Prima, Crate Paper, Melissa Frances, Papertrey Ink, A Flair for Buttons, Freckled Fawn, and many of my favorite manufacturers.

My work can be seen at:  http://lilybeanpaperie.typepad.com

I am originally from American Fork, Utah. After graduating from Brigham Young University, my husband and I moved to Southern Nevada where we currently live with our daughter and several furry, farm animals.
