Have you ever tried foiling? I don't have a special machine for this. However, I really like to do it manually. This is a fast and exciting process. In these moments, I feel like a real wizard.
So for today, I have prepared a couple of Valentine cards for you using Oh my Heart Cover Panel with All the Love stamp set. It is "one background - 2 cards" series.
I started working by making two backgrounds. I blending Piggy Bank, Wine and Magenta Dye Inks. And sprinkled it all with water.
Then I used Oh my Heart Cover Panel. I die-cut the panel using Easy-Cut Adhesive from Therm O Web to creating enough pieces to make 2 cards. Next I stuck hearts die cuts onto first base (using the negative piece as a guide). Then I removed the protective layer from each heart so that they became sticky and covered them with a sheet of Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil.
So I carefully smoothed the panel on top and removed the film, which had already become transparent. So my hearts began to sparkle with gold. Isn't it magic?
Also I stamped the sentiment from the All the Love stamp set and die cut it with All the Love Confetti Cuts.
For my second card I used the negative piece and stuck it onto my background. Then I did the same manipulations that I described above and got a fancy gold background with colored hearts.
Next, I added sentiment from the same stamp set as on the previous card. So colorful and quick!
Thanks for stopping by.
What an absolutely stunning card Olga! Love the colors you used along with our Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil!!
