MAY STOCK YOUR STASH

Hi friends! Are you ready for a Party? This month at Reverse Confetti the Stock Your Stash Challenge Theme is BIRTHDAY!!

I'd like to say spring is in the air, but it's more like a mix of spring one minute and winter (still/again!) the next.  If you're in Texas, I know you can relate.  I am sure Mother Nature is playing fun games like this elsewhere, too! Anywhooo...

Some things to note about this challenge...
There will be a new Stock Your Stash challenge posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The SYS link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 29th of the month. Click the "Play Along..." button on our sidebar to go current link list post.
Reverse Confetti stamps and/or Confetti Cuts are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!
You may enter as many times as you wish.
Use #SYSChallenge when playing along with this challenge.
There will be a random winner selected each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store. The winner of challenge will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog at the end of the month.
. . . . .
I love the challenge because it's a great way to see my favorite Reverse Confetti Stamps and Dies in action, and when you play along you not only have another great card added to your stash for sending, but you're also entered to win a gift certificate to the store.
I'm playing along with the Party Pals stamp set and coordinating dies. I love all the cute animals in this set and just couldn't decide on a favorite so I USED THEM ALL!!!!
These cuties each have their own personality!  I arranged them on a panel that is inked with Distress Oxide in Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Candied Apple.

If you look close you'll see that some of the images are adhered flat on the card base while others are adhered with adhesive foam tape. This adds dimension and helps bring the scene to life.

I sure hope you'll join me for this challenge! I can't wait to see what you make!

I am so glad it is May and flowers are sprouting up all around my backyard making me super happy! The May Stock Your Stash theme this month is Birthday and I made a fun card with some beautiful flowers and adorable bear to brighten it up!

I used these Reverse Confetti products for my design:

I began my card with a 5 x 6 1/2 card base.

For the background, I first inked a piece of Bristol Smooth with mermaid lagoon, peacock feathers, and cracked pistachio, die cut it with the Pointed Cover Panel and adhered to the center of my card front.

Next, I stamped the flowers, bear and knitting, colored them with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then glued the flower cluster onto the stitched frame and tucked the bear behind the green banner with the sentiment. I finished with a few pink gems!

Now I look forward to see your birthday projects for this month's Stock Your Stash!
