Hello, RC fans! It's Andrea with you today, and I'm sharing a fun gift bag that you can make with just about any Reverse Confetti Cover Panel Confetti Cuts! Mother's Day Gift Bag by Andrea Shell | Daisies Cover Panel Confetti Cuts by Reverse Confetti As Mother's Day is this weekend, I thought I'd make a bag that's just right for giving a little token to mom on Sunday. The Stitched Daisies Cover Panel Confetti Cuts is so dainty and lovely and seemed to be the perfect die for this idea. Reverse Confetti has so many great cover panels that you can easily create a gift bag for any occasion! Mother's Day Gift Bag by Andrea Shell | Daisies Cover Panel Confetti Cuts by Reverse Confetti To make my gift bag, I first diecut the Stitched Daisies Cover Panel twice from light pink cardstock. Using the rest of the pink paper, I created the sides and bottom of my bag (You could make this bag a bit wider, but I wanted to be able to create it with just one 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of cardstock). Each of the sides measure 2" x 5 1/2" and were scored on the short side (i.e., down the length of the strip) at 1/2" and 1 3/4". The bottom measures 2" x 5 1/4" and was scored on the long side at 1/2" and 4 3/4" and on the short side at 1/4" and 1 3/4". After creasing each of the scorelines on the bottom, I snipped off the tiny rectangles on the four corners. I then assembled everything with ScorTape along the tabs created by the scoring. Mother's Day Gift Bag by Andrea Shell | Daisies Cover Panel Confetti Cuts by Reverse Confetti I punched holes along the top of the bag and threaded ribbon through them to create handles. I taped the knotted ends of the ribbon to the inside of my bag to prevent them from being pulled out. For my tag I used the Three Tags Confetti Cuts. I cut the tag from both white cardstock and matte gold paper. Onto the white tag, I heat-embossed a sentiment from Hatbox Florals. I adhered the tags slightly offset and tied them to my bag with white twine. I embellished the tag with a small flower diecut with the Floral Chain Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and a gold enamel dot. Mother's Day Gift Bag by Andrea Shell | Daisies Cover Panel Confetti Cuts by Reverse Confetti To further embellish my bag, I diecut different sized flowers with the Floral Chain Cover Panel Confetti Cuts. I created the leaves with the dies from Sending Smiles. I finished each flower with a gold enamel dot. Thanks for stopping by! I hope I've inspired you to use your cover panel dies in a new way. *Affiliate links used at no cost to you.
