It's a new round of Confetti Camera! Our theme now is FOR A FRIEND. In this weekly segment, one of each of our Confetti Crew designers takes this theme and creates something to share with you, our 'Fetti Fans.
. . . . .
Hello 'Fetti Fans, Amy Sheffer here to kick off a new round of Confetti Camera. Our theme is: For A Friend. There is nothing better than surprising a friend with a random act of handmade kindness!
Today I've created a fall gift and card ensemble using a combination of old and new products.
For my card, I started by die-cutting a Cloud White panel using the Stitched Rays Cover Panel, then did some light ink blending in Iced Aqua.
Next I used the Wheat Confetti Cuts die to cut some wheat stalks from Sand, Cloud White, and Dark Roast card stock.
The jar, from Cotton & Thistles Confetti Cuts, is cut twice -- one in vellum and one in Cloud White. Both are stamped with the coordinating Cotton & Thistles jar image in Iced Aqua ink. I slipped the wheat stalks in between the two jar layers and secured everything with adhesive.
Finishing touches include a button, some twine tied around the jar, and some clear enamel "water drops."
I created my coordinating gift bag using the new Bag & Tags Creator Confetti Cuts.
To create the bag, I cut two panels, scored each at 1" up from the bottom, then adhered those two bottom flaps together. Before I adhered, though, I stamped the floral image from Autumn Blessings using white pigment ink. The sentiment, from Fall Foliage, is stamped in Dark Roast ink.
The top of the bag is scored 1/2" down from the top so that I could fold the pinked edge over. I punched two small holes and secured the front and back using some white twine, a button, and a sweet little tag from the Flower Wrap Confetti Cuts die set.
Here's a look at the bag from the side. Inside is a cello bag filled with some yummy caramels -- perfect for fall!
