Hello, 'Fetti Fans...
OH YEA, IT'S RELEASE DAY...We're just a wee bit excited for today and all the new goodies that are available now in the Reverse Confetti store!
. . . . .
We're celebrating the release with a SUPER DUPER FABULOUS blog hop filled with bunches of inspiration using the new products. There is a full hop list at the end of this post. Before I get to my projects, let's recap what's available now...
ABUNDANT AUTUMN 6x6 PAD

STAMPS

CONFETTI CUTS

. . . . .
When I sit down to put together a stamp set, whether it's just a concept (i.e. I converse with my illustrators about the set) or an actual set I design, I like to incorporate a way to make the stamp set usable year round. Now, sometimes that is just not possible, but it's definitely a nice bonus when it is able to work out that way. So, with that in mind and a little brainstorming I came up with a couple cards that are OUT OF THE BOX fun uses for what are actually labeled as "Christmas" stamp sets.
It is no secret that I LOVE creating for Halloween! Seriously, I could create for Halloween all year round. Sidenote: I don't particularly care for dressing up, just making stuff to give to others or decorate my house.
I thought it would be fun to take the CHRISTMAS CANDLES set and create a spooky, fun scene...

The candles are colored with Copics and I added the jar from the new COTTON & THISTLES set. The spider and web images come from the (previously released). TOO CUTE TO SPOOK. I stitched the web he is hanging from with my sewing machine (which clearly needs to be tightened or something...lol).

The foliage accents are from the new FALL FOLIAGE set. They are colored in browns to keep with the "darker" feel of the scene.
The base of the card has a STORMY cardstock panel on it and is layered with the LARGE DIAMOND COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts. To get the webs behind each of the openings, I made a little mark where to stamp (there was a little bit of masking, too).

The sentiment flag is stamped with the "get your spooky on" sentiment from the new FRIGHTENING FRIENDS set. As for finishing touches, I added the cotton webbing and sequins.
. . . . .
I really loved playing with the new TRIANGLE TREES set. Yesterday I showed how you could turn those trees upside down to create a banner. I kept those trees upside down to make this fun card (that I'll be holding onto for a few months)...

Yes, I made an Easter card in September...with a "Christmas" set! Aren't those carrots cute, though!?!
Under the main image panel is the new TRIANGLES COVER PANEL popped up on the card base. I love how the triangles all play together on this card.
For the carrot tops (made from TANGERINE cardstock), I took a scrap of LIME GREEN cardstock and cut off one inch sections, folded it in half and then cut the fringe with scissors. To top it off, I added a double bow of twine.

The sentiment is from the (previously released) HIPPITY HOPPITY set...

. . . . .
I mentioned that we have a SUPER FABULOUS hop today and it's time for me to send you on your way to see what the Confetti Crew and some very special friends have come up with using the new goodies.
