Hi, friends! It's Andrea with you today sharing a fun layout I created with the
Hippo Pool Party stamp set.
When I saw this set, I knew it would be perfect for this photo of my daughter! Can you believe how well the unicorn float from the set coordinates with the one in the photo?! I just love it when a plan comes together!
I started by coloring all of those fun images from Hippo Pool Party with Copics. You might be thinking "why would you spend the time coloring images for a scrapbook page?" Well, I spend that much time on images for cards that might be thrown away (shocking, I know), whereas I know this page won't go into the trash (at least not while I'm alive)!
Once I had all of my images colored and cut out, I created the background. I used two stencils from my stash and a couple of blue inks to create the clouds and waves. Next, I watered down both inks and added splatters. I framed my photo with a scalloped frame created with the
Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts and adhered it and my colored images with foam.
To further embellish my page, I diecut the
Big Sun Confetti Cuts from yellow and glitter cardstocks and layered the pieces together. I added some stickers and ephemera from Cocoa Vanilla Studio's Sunkissed collection. I also trimmed the page to 11.5" x 11.5" and matted it with a paper from the collection.
For my title I used the
Layered Joy Confetti Cuts. I diecut the layers from white and blue cardstocks, adhered the assembled piece with foam, and brushed clear sparkle over the word. I really love how this page turned out!
