Hello crafty friends! I'm Lien and this week I made a very fun non-traditional Christmas cards. I make so many holiday cards every year I get a little bit burnt out with the traditional stuff even though I love that look, so I'm always happy to come up with out of the box Christmas designs and this bear was perfect for it!

For this card I started out by using the Tree Confetti Cuts to die cut a stencil. I just do this out of glossy cardstock, but you can do it out of acetate as well! I do make sure to trim my cardstock down to A2 size, center my die on top of that, so it's easy to align this stencil on my card later. I tape everything temporarily in place with painters tape and then I can blend a galaxy through this tree stencil using Iced Aqua, Lime Green, Baby Blue, Navy and Royal Purple ink by Reverse Confetti, I also added some splatter with silver metallic paint.

I then stamped an image from the The Bear Up There stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink onto Canson Montval 200 gsm watercolor cardstock. I also embossed this with WOW Clear Gloss Super Fine Embossing Powder. Then I can easily paint this image in with my watercolors and fussy cut it out. You could use the matching dies, but honestly I am terrible at lining those up. You can find the dies right here.

I cut down my panel to be slightly smaller than A2 size, added a sentiment from the Sparkle and Shine Sentiments stamp set in silver embossing powder and then it's time to assemble my card. I glued 4 extra pieces of thick white cardstock under my tree panel to prop it up on my cardbase. I then adhere the bear on some foam tape and as a finishing touch I added a couple of holographic gems.
