Good morning! Heather here this morning with a new edition of Wednesday in the Works! Today I'm sharing a card using a Christmas stamp set paired with a non-traditional color palette to create an entirely different card!
I used the sweet little wreath from Joyous Holiday stamp set, heat embossed it in white on Premier Polar White cardstock, then die cut with the coordinating Confetti Cuts.
Here is the video sharing how this card came together:
I used the sweet little wreath from Joyous Holiday stamp set, heat embossed it in white on Premier Polar White cardstock, then die cut with the coordinating Confetti Cuts.
Next, I blended a bright and happy color palette of Confetti Colors over the top - I used Piggy Bank, Lime Green, Bumblebee, and Tangerine.
Added some texture to the background using Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel, a bit of jute twine around one of the wreaths, and then finished off with a sentiment from Sentimentally Yours stamped in Midnight Dye ink along the bottom.
Thanks so much for stopping by today - have a wonderful day!!!
I have never thought of using “different” colors for wreaths. I just love this idea. It reminds me of the Charlie Brown Christmas—the colorful trees at the tree farm. I need to do this.
