Hey there!  Tricia here with you today to share with you two cards that I made creating some very clean and simple cards with several stamp sets.  I am very deep into an unplanned remodel thanks to a major water leak and my house that we have lived in for 20 years that started out everything white, that I painted every room dark, dark colors is going white everywhere again!  So I have been pinning pictures, saving squares on Instagram, and have you heard of Houzz? Well that's another place that you can get inspiration full of renos, new homes, etc.  I have been drawn to clean and simple this go around and  I am loving white with pops of color, typically green plants.  It is so bright and refreshing!  So when I was gathering my materials for these cards, I was inspired to recreate that feeling into them.
I used the new Sketched Florals and paired it with the Floral Gem stamp set to create the background for the Oh Joyous Day card and just used Sketched Florals for the Choose Joy card.   I went with clean and simple, stamping with black ink onto white cardstock!  Shocking right?  I created a number of different designs and settled with the two I am sharing with you today.   It was so much fun and relaxing to just stamp away!
For the Oh Joyous Day, I stamped with Sketched Florals and Floral Gems and tried to make more of a mirrored design.  I did a line of the rose images down the center and then mirrored back and forth across the panel.    For the Choose Joy, I used just one image from Sketched Florals and created a pattern that I repeated across the card.
For that pop of color, I went the Choose Joy stamp set along with the Choose Joy Confetti Cut to create the centerpiece for the card.   I stamped the wreath with the Parakeet ink and die cut it out with the Choose Joy Confetti Cut.   I stamped another piece of white card stock with the sentiment and then trimmed it down to go behind the wreath.
I trimmed the stamped panels down and layered them onto an A2 card base.   I popped up the wreath and sentiment with foam tape to add a little dimension.  I was going to add some more details but really just love the clean and simple look of them.  I had so much fun creating these panels.  They look a little like wallpaper, I may end up putting these into a little frame and using them to decorate my new old house!
Thanks for joining me today!  I wish you a joyous and happy day!
