My project today is a sweet and simple treat basket that I created from the GIFT CARD HOLDER TAG Confetti Cuts die set (how-to information below)…
The “main image panel” on the front of the treat basket is created from the FLOWERS FOR MOM and BUTTERFLY DREAMS Confetti Cuts die sets. I stamped the “happy spring” sentiment (from HIPPITY HOPPITY) on the banner in white pigment ink…
The treat basket is filled with paper grass and a little plastic carrot “egg” that I picked up at Hobby Lobby (I think)…
While this treat basket is all about “spring,” it will be easy to switch up the color/theme for year-round fun!!
How to create this treat basket…
- Cut 4 of the GIFT CARD HOLDER TAG from cardstock
- Cut one 3 3/16″ square from same cardstock as tag
- Score tags at 1″ from the top of the tag & 3/4″ from bottom
- Adhere top end of tag to each side of square
- Wrap with patterned paper and embellish
- Optional: add a 1/2″ handle (mine started at 8.5″ in length and is adhered almost an inch in on each side)
- Fill it up and give to a family member or friend

It’s time to get hoppin’ and see what the rest of the Crew came up with!
