Happy January friends! It’s Dana here today sharing my project for the Stock Your Stash Challenge. The theme this month is Love is in the Air! 

I decided to make a Valentine’s Day card for the challenge. I started my card by stamping the adorable little mice from the Mouse Mail set with a Copic friendly black ink. I then colored the images with Copic markers and used the coordinating Mouse Mail dies to cut them out.
For my card panel, I used the Oh My Heart Cover Panel. I die cut it from white cardstock and attached it to an A2 card base. Next, I used the Love Note Confetti Cuts set to die cut my frame and row of hearts. This is such a great set of dies, perfect for all of your Valentine crafting. Lastly, I used the Love You Most set to stamp my sentiment.

Hello crafty friends! Lien here with a fun valentine's card for the Stock Your Stash challenge!
I love me a shaped card, so I just had to make a heart-shaped card for Valentine's day! Now I started out by doing all my wet techniques for this card first so they could dry while I worked on my focal point. So I first took three pieces of pink patterned papers and added some splatter to them with Distress Oxide inks. Once these are dry I will die cut some flowers from them with the Floral Chain Cover Panel Confetti Cuts. I also made my background already, I used one of the Magical Shakers by Lindy's Gang, simply sprinkled some of the powder onto a scrap piece of Canson Montval 200 gsm watercolor cardstock and then spritzed it with water. Once that's dry I'll die cut a heart out of this.
For my focal point I used the Polar Party stamp set and used the bear holding the present to stamp in alcohol marker friendly ink onto Clairefontaine DCP 250 gsm cardstock. I quickly colored him in and cut him out using the Coordinatine Confetti Cuts. To assemble this card I first had to make my cardbase. For that I die cut two large hearts from thick white cardstock and added a scoreline towards the top of one of the hearts. (You can watch the video below if this isn't clear). I then added glue to everything above the score line and adhered the second heart on top of it. This creates a hinge for a perfect heart-shaped cardbase.
I also die cut that same size heart from magenta cardstock and adhered it on top of the cardbase. I die cut the watercolor background with a smaller heart die and adhered it with foam tape to prop it up. I created a pile of pink flowers for the bear to sit on using the Floral Chain Cover Panel Confetti Cuts, then propped the bear up on foam tape and added a few more flowers over the bear to really make it look like he was sitting on a pile of flowers. To the centers of the flowers I added some Nuvo Drops in the Ivory Seashell color. Using a white gel pen I added a dashline around the edge of the heart and also added a few small white hearts in the background.
