Hello crafty friends! Lien here and today I'm going to combine one of my favorite summery products released this year, with one released last year!

For this card I used the Dog Days stamp set. I stamped and colored the adorable dog on the float with alcohol markers. I cut it out with the Coordinating dies and put it aside while working on the background.

This background has a few steps to it, but they're all super simple and it creates a really cool wave look! I started on a piece of light blue colored cardstock and blended on some darker blue inks to create an ombre look. I then used the gorgeous Circle of Waves die to die cut waves out of it. I die cut it once more from thick white cardstock to layer the pieces up and make them a little bit more sturdy.

Here comes the magic: white acrylic paint. All you need is a beat up brush, some white acrylic paint and you can go to town adding some "foam" to these waves. I simply put quite a thick layer of paint right on the edge of the wave, dry off the brush and drag the paint out a little bit. I add some dots as bubbles or small pieces of sea foam and that's it. Try not to be too even with it.

I glued these pieces onto a dry embossed piece of this Circle of Waves die, it just helps to line everything up and adhere everything together. I glued a piece of sand colored cardstock onto a circle card and adhered the waves on top. I added the dog image with foam tape and that's it!.
