Hi crafty friends! I'm Lien and I'm back with a quick and easy summery birthday card, perfect for the heatwave coming up here. I used some summer must-haves from Reverse Confetti to make it!

For this card I started by die cutting the Big Sun confetti cuts once from yellow cardstock and once from thick white cardstock to layer it up and make it a little bit more sturdy. Once they're layered up they're a lot easier to ink blend for added shading and depth. So I added some orange ink blending to it. I also blended some teal to the top third of my cardbase, fading into white.

I stamped the adorable bunny from the Ice Cream Social stamp set in alcohol marker friendly ink. I colored it in really simply (you can catch the full coloring process in the video below! After coloring, I can put the piece of paper back in the same corner in my Misti and stamp the image again in the exact same spot using Versafine Onyx Black ink to emboss the outline.

To finish this card I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set on the cardbase, glued the big sun in place in the top left corner. Once it was adhered down I trimmed off the excess with my big shears and adhered the bunny on top with some foam tape. I finished it off with gold gems and that's it!
