Hello crafty friends! Lien here with a fun summery card using my favorite stamp set from the new release! As always, I will leave the video linked below the tutorial if you're curious!

For this card I started out by stamping and coloring the surfer dog from the Dog Days stamp set. This is such a fun set and there is an entire mini set to go with it full of sentiments, you can check that one out here. As always I stamped the image first in alcohol marker friendly ink, left the stamp in my image while I colored then stamped it again with Versafine Onyx Black and added clear gloss embossing powder for a really crisp and shiny black outline.

Now, surprisingly that Dog Days stamp set isn't my favorite of the release, sure it's AMAZING, but I think my pick for must-have stamp set is the Little Bits Sentiments stamp set. It has sentiments for any occasion in some amazing fonts. The look is very unique and I love it. For this card I stuck with the bold Hello sentiment and stamped that repeatedly on my cardpanel with different shades of blue ink. Watch the video below to see how I easily did that!

Sentiment backdrops like that are a perfect way to ground your image on a larger background. And you get some more value out of your sentiment stamps by using them a little differently! To pull this card together, I added some beach-looking patterned paper to my cardbase. I diecut my cardpanel with the hellos on it to trim it down and propped it up on a piece of cardboard for extra dimension. I also propped up the surfer dog on some foam tape. As a finishing touch I added some blue gems.
