. . . . .
You know the drill, 'Fetti Fans!  Grab that cuppa, sit back and enjoy the first day of the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI!
This release contains 5 new stamp sets, 7 new Confetti Cuts die sets and a new 6x6 paper pad.  First up in our introductions is the new 6x6 paper pad...

PAPER BLISS

Coordinating Confetti Colors:  Navy, Seafoam, Mint, Tangerine, Stone, Flamingo and Piggy Bank
As noted above, it's our birthday, so what better way to start off the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI today than with some new birthday themed products!

HEY, SUGAR

Coordinating Confetti Cuts
Before I get to my cards using the new HEY, SUGAR set I have another introduction.  I think you are going to love these stand alone Confetti Cuts dies!

STITCHED SQUARES

This is a set of 4 square dies where the outer edge of each is a cut line.  They can be used individually to cut stitched panels or use them together to create frames, like on this card...
This 4.25" square card features the donuts and sentiment from HEY, SUGAR.  I stamped the donuts in STONE ink and then colored them with Copics.
The stitched frame was created by cutting the the largest and 2nd largest squares together.
. . . . .
Before I get to my next card, I have another fun introduction!

POLKA PANEL

My next card features the POLKA PANEL Confetti Cuts cut in half diagonally along with the popsicles and sentiment from HEY, SUGAR...
Each of the popsicles is colored with Copic markers and topped off with some Diamond Stickles (holy cow it's been a long time since I used those!).  I love the texture that the white on white POLKA PANEL gives.
. . . . .
Our next introduction could be dubbed the quintessential birthday sentiment set...well, in my humble opinion, at least!

BIRTHDAY WISHES

It pairs up perfectly with this new Confetti Cuts die set...

CANDLES

Here's my first card, combining these two new products (and the PAPER BLISS 6x6 pad)...
This fun Confetti Cuts die cuts 5 candles from any panel or card front all at once.  You can add flame and candle color to the back side or fill the negative spaces with colored cardstock for detail.
Here I added gold glitter paper behind for the flames...
For the candle colors, I used LIME, BUTTERCUP, FLAMINGO, ICED AQUA and RC AQUA cardstock.  I added the sentiment from the new BIRTHDAY WISHES set on a panel cut and popped on top...
. . . . .
My next card uses a color combo that I can't seem to stop using...I just love it and am totally drawn to this combo!
I cut the "xoxo" from the XOXO HEARTS Confetti Cuts die set from NAVY, ICED AQUA and LIME GREEN cardstock.
I then added the sentiment from BIRTHDAY WISHES popped up on top of a NAVY cardstock strip that "sets off" the sentiment.
. . . . .

Ok, enough of me and off you go to see what incredible creations that the Confetti Crew have put together.  Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win at each stop along the way!

INTRODUCING OUR 'FETTI FRIENDS
Hello 'Fetti Fans!
Our 5th Birthday Release is just around the corner and we are busy making preparations for the celebration!  There is already a "Win It Before You Can Buy It" promo happening over on our Facebook page.  After you're finished here today, go check it out!
I'm happy to announce the 'Fetti Friends that will be joining us for May and June...
Hi! I’m Carly Tee Minner and I craft so much! I am lucky enough to have a crafty day job at a Ellen Hutson LLC so I actually have to think about stamps, dies & sequins all day! And don’t worry, I know how lucky I am! When I’m not making cards, I’m probably snacking on chocolate-covered gummy bears and hanging out with my husband & pup. I’m thrilled and honored to be Reverse Confetti’s guest!
Hi there! I'm Tatiana from Tatiana Craft And Art and I’m so excited to be guesting at Reverse Confetti blog as a ‘Fetti Friend! I live in sunny Rome with my hubby, stepson and two sweet kitties. I always loved everything handmade and crafty related and tried all kinds of hobbies from jewelry making to crocheting until I discovered and felt in love with a magical world of paper crafting. Cardmaking and coloring became my relaxing getaway. I like getting inky, experimenting, stretching my supplies, learning new techniques and coloring with any medium, especially cat images which I often make look like my kitties.

ONE OF THOSE WEEKS

By Jen del Muro
on April 06, 2018

Hello and Happy Fri-YAY, ‘Fetti Fans!

Ever have one of those weeks where you feel like you’re just failing at being human?  That’s me this week.  My mom was admitted into the hospital after an infection on her leg got out of control and it’s been exceptionally busy with work, kids and volunteering.  I told someone that I’m getting everything done – at 75%.  I know that all I can do is take it day by day, but my goodness, I just don’t feel great about how this week has gone.

One of the things that fell through the cracks was announcing the March SFYTT winner.  I apologize for it being a *little* late, but here it is…

Isn’t her card using the Hippity Hoppity set just the sweetest?!

NEW RELEASE

By Jen del Muro
on March 08, 2018

Hello, ‘Fetti Fans and welcome to the NEW RELEASE celebration!  All of the new goodies are available in the store now (click the graphic above to start shopping).

We’re hopping to celebrate this new release and we have a TON of inspiration to share with you today!  You’ll find a hop list at the bottom of this post.

First, let’s recap the release…

FUN TIMES 6×6 PAPER PAD

The coordinating Confetti Colors for FUN TIMES are: Lime Green, Baby Blue, Wisteria, Seafoam, Stone and Piggy Bank

STAMPS

CONFETTI CUTS

. . . . .

I said it before and I will say it again…this is my most favoritest release ever!

I have had so much fun with all of these images and dies and I have a lot more to share with you today!

First up is a card that I did using the TALL BLOOMS stamps and Confetti Cuts…

Using the leafy die from the TALL BLOOMS Confetti Cuts die set, I made 3 feathers.  These are cut from our CLOUD WHITE cardstock and watercolored.  I added a touch of gold Wink of Stella down the middle.

The feathers are layered with gold glitter paper that I slightly offset.  I then adhered them to the main image panel which I wrapped with some off white thread.

. . . . .

My next card features the waving bear from the new HONEY BEAR stamp set.  I masked and stamped him (her?) a few times to create a gathering of waving bears.

The “a happy hello” sentiment is from the TALL BLOOMS stamp set.  Card measures 4.25″ square.

Each of the bears is watercolored.  I have found that I really enjoy watercoloring (yep, I realize that is probably not a surprise statement) and I am often reaching for my Zig watercolor brush pens.

. . . . .

Did you love all the sunshine projects yesterday? I sure did!  There are so many possibilities with the MY SUNSHINE set!  I created this fun fold card with the sun as the focal point…

The top of this card has patterned paper from the FUN TIMES 6×6 paper pad layered with the BIG STRIPES COVER PANEL.

The sun is created with the elements from the HELLO SUNSHINE stamp set and is layered on circles from the FLOWERS FOR MOM (pinked edge) and DETAILED CIRCLES Confetti Cuts.

. . . . .

My final card that I am sharing with you today features the new SEALIOUSLY stamps and Confetti Cuts and with the new STITCHED RAYS COVER PANEL Confetti Cuts and patterned paper from the FUN TIMES 6×6 paper pad…

The center circle is cut from the CIRCLES ‘N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts die set and watercolored.  The seal (also watercolored), waves and sentiment sit on top of the circle and I layered the stripe patterned paper behind it.

I cut down the STITCHED RAYS COVER PANEL and watercolored every other space with yellow to give the appearance of sun light/rays .

This 4.25″ square may be little, but it’s quite thick.  I layered everything with dimensional adhesive.  Extra postage required on this one, for sure!

. . . . .

Ok, that’s all for me today.  It’s time for me to send you on your way to see all the Confetti Creativity from the Confetti Crew.

Here’s one final look at the Countdown schedule…

. . . . .

Our fourth and final stamp set reveal is the sun that you have been seeing all week long on our new release graphic.  Introducing…

MY SUNSHINE

Coordinating Confetti Cuts…

This set is lots of fun and allows you to get A LOT of different looks by combining some or all of the elements.

There are two sketched rays/bursts that can be used individually or together.  Then there are 3 other decorative ray images that can be mixed and matched.  Finally, 4 different suns/sentiments.

I created multiple suns easily by creating a bit of an assembly line with stamping and cutting.  First I stamped the sun/sentiment images in BUTTERCUP ink and then I stamped the large rays and decorative rays in BUMBLEBEE and BUTTERCUP inks.  I put them all together and made a few cards with them.  (I did use the 4th sentiment, I will be sharing that card tomorrow on our new release hop).

My first card uses the “You Are My Sunshine” sentiment.  I layered the sun on a circle cut from BUTTERCUP cardstock.  The main image panel is the new STITCHED RAYS COVER PANEL and I layered 3 strips of cardstock (NAVY, RC AQUA and ICED AQUA).

. . . . .

This next card was a lot of fun to create!  I cut strips of SALSA, TANGERINE, BUMBLEBEE, LIME GREEN, ICED AQUA, NAVY and GRAPE SODA cardstock and put them on an angle to create a fun focal panel that is layered atop a frame from the ALL FRAMED UP Confetti Cuts die set.  Taking center stage is the “You Brighten My World” sun.

As a finishing touch, I added clouds (HONEY BEAR Confetti Cuts) cut from white felt and added sequins topped with clear acrylic dots.

. . . ..

My last card to share with you today has the “Shine Bright” sun on top of the STITCHED RAYS COVER PANEL (cut from MIST cardstock).  The grass is cut from the new FUN TIMES 6×6 paper pad with the stitched hill from the NUTS ABOUT YOU Confetti Cuts die set.  For a finishing touch on this card, added 3 matte enamel dots layered with NAVY cardstock.

. . . . .

You’re not going to want to miss any of the SUNSHINEY creations that the Confetti Crew has to share with you today!

COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI: TALL BLOOMS & MORE

By Jen del Muro
on March 06, 2018

Hello, ‘Fetti Fans!

Despite a couple technical glitches (oh, Monday!), yesterday kicked off the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI…YAY!!  We are back today with DAY TWO of our COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI.

Here’s a quick look at how this week will play out…

. . . . .

Don’t forget to leave a comment here and on each sneak peek post this week for a chance to win!

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion.  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed.

. . . . .

We love that YOU love our Cover Panels!  And, just in time for all of your spring projects, let us introduce our latest one to you…

STITCHED RAYS COVER PANEL

This cover panel goes well with so many of our sets including our latest floral set…

TALL BLOOMS

Coordinating Confetti Cuts…

. . . . .

I cannot stop reaching for this set!  I actually had to consciously “hide” it so that I could get some other projects done because my brain is on overload with projects I want to make with it.  When I first got this set in my hands, I immediately knew that I wanted to make a set of cards that had a trio of each image with the sentiments going across.  I took it another step and added different cover panels to each for added detail…

I started by stamping each image 3 times on our CLOUD WHITE cardstock and watercoloring with my Zig watercolor brush markers.  I then cut them out and layered them on top of cover panels cuts that I trimmed down (main image panel is 3.5″ x 4.75″).

Birthday card with the SMALL DIAMOND TILES COVER PANEL

Detail shot…

Sympathy card with the LARGE EYELET COVER PANEL

Get well card with the LEAF LATTICE COVER PANEL

Detail shot…

Hello card with the new STITCHED RAYS COVER PANEL

. . . . .

This set is a lot of fun to use with watercolors (on our CLOUD WHITE cardstock)!  I continued to do so as I created this shadow box/frame…

I picked up this frame a few weeks ago at IKEA.  I had no idea what I was going to do with it, but I knew that it would come in handy for a crafty project “one day.”  Please tell me that I am not the only one that does this!

Fortunately, that one day came sooner than later (tell that to all the other frames and such I have just waiting for their day in the spotlight…lol!) and I paired it with the new STITCHED RAYS COVER PANEL (cut from STONE cardstock) and the new TALL BLOOMS stamps (and Confetti Cuts dies).

Here are some detail shots of it out of the frame…

The sentiment is from the GOD IS GOOD stamp set.

These colors remind me of a Texas spring wildflower field…

. . . . .

Ok, it’s time for you to see what the rest of the Confetti Crew and our ‘Fetti Friends have to share with you today!

COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI: SEALS, BEARS & MORE

By Jen del Muro
on March 05, 2018

A big happy hello, ‘Fetti Fans!

It’s the first day of the COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI with my MOST FAVORITEST RELEASE EVER OF ALL TIME…seriously friends, this is a goooood one!  Well, I think they’re all great, but this one has just really grabbed me!

Here’s a look at what we have going on over the next few days…

Don’t forget to leave a comment here and on each sneak peek post this week for a chance to win!

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion.  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed.

On Facebook, simply leave a comment under the graphic.  One person that comments on the graphic by 1pm EST on March 7th will be randomly chosen to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  Winners for both the blog comments and Facebook comments will be announced here on the Reverse Confetti blog as well as on Facebook.

. . . . .

Since our last release in January (as a reminder, we release on the 8th of every *other* month), I had my FINAL chemo treatment!  Life has returned to pretty much normal (whatever normal is here, at least).  So far this year has been great and I have so many fun things lined up for the next few months. While I was undergoing treatment last year I promised myself lots of adventures and memories to be made.  I also promised to give back and have spent many hours (days!) working with local organizations to give back to the community.  It’s nice to channel that #beastmode energy into fun and good!  I’ll have more details and pics to share in later posts, but for now let’s get this party started!

. . . . .

Our March release contains 5 new stamp sets, 6 new Confetti Cuts die sets and a new 6×6 paper pad (all of which I am madly in love with!).

First up in our introductions is the new 6×6 paper pad…

FUN TIMES

The coordinating Confetti Colors for FUN TIMES are: Lime Green, Baby Blue, Wisteria, Seafoam, Stone and Piggy Bank

. . . . .

Before I get to TWO new stamp set introductions, I want to share with you our latest tag…

DASHED LINE TAG

. . . . .

We know how much you ADORE the “critter” sets and we have a very special announcement about these:

There is just too much cuteness to try to contain, so from this release on, these sets will be 4×6 stamp sets!

The first of the new (larger sized!) stamp sets is…

HONEY BEAR

Coordinating Confetti Cuts…

. . . . .

For my first project today, I paired the new DASHED LINE TAG with the new HONEY BEAR stamps and Confetti Cuts dies…

For this project, I cut the DASHED LINE TAG from ICED AQUA cardstock.  I stamped the bear, apples and sentiment on our PREMIER POLAR WHITE cardstock.  The images are colored with Copic markers.  After I place the bear and apples along with the sentiment on the tag, I felt like it needed a little something more and stamped the sun from the WEATHER IT TOGETHER set in BUTTERCUP Ink on BUTTERCUP cardstock and tucked it just a little behind the bear.

The tag is attached to 3 chocolate bars tied off with red ribbon with some twine.

. . . . .

My next HONEY BEAR project is a fun scenery card I created using several of the image from this set…

The leafy part of the tree in this set has open spaces to stamp and color the apple images.  Of course, you can use hearts or circles from other images to create different kinds of trees, too!

The grassy hills were created by cutting paper from the new FUN TIMES 6×6 paper pad and layering it with LIME GREEN cardstock.  Each piece is cut with the hill from the NUTS ABOUT YOU Confetti Cuts die set.

The apples, bears, honey pot and bee are all colored with Copic markers.  I popped the honey pot into the bear paws here…

Each of the clouds has 3 layers: ICED AQUA cardstock, white felt and PREMIER POLAR WHITE cardstock…

For a finishing touch, I added the heart from the LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts die set in SALSA cardstock and topped it off with a button tied off with twine.  I love how sweet and sunny this card turned out…

. . . . .

This next set is sure to make a splash…

SEALIOUSLY

Coordinating Confetti Cuts…

. . . . .

My first project using this new SEALIOUSLY set is a fun shaker card…

Along with the SEALIOUSLY stamps and Confetti Cuts, I used the HELLO & THANKS PANEL and the new FUN TIMES 6×6 paper pad.

Each of the images is stamped on our CLOUD WHITE Cardstock.  This paper does so well with watercolors, which is what I used here…

. . . . .

For my last card today, I stamped the waves multiple times in NAVY and ICED AQUA inks to create a fun background/scene…

I cut out a few of the waves and layered them on the card for a little texture and dimension.

The seal image is stamped on our PREMIER POLAR WHITE and colored with Copic markers.  I added the clouds, popped up on dimensional adhesive, as a fun white on white element for this card.  The sentiment is stamped in NAVY ink.

. . . . .

Ok, it’s time for you to see what the rest of the Confetti Crew and our ‘Fetti Friends have to share with you today!
